Annual Boarding Appraisals
I'm sure most people on here will agree the Board has become moribund.
In an effort to improve it I will be holding appraisals for all Boarders except Constanza. The aim is to coach them on how to Board better. I am fully aware of the enormity of this task and in the case of some Boarders the utter futility.
As always I will be as positive and constructive in addressing performance and providing feedback.
I will be awarding grades and this will become apparent as the appraisals progress. Admin/Mods will not be exempt from the process.
Does anyone want to volunteer and go first and help break the circle of moribundidity?

Of course not under the rules of modern capitalism performance is never linked to reward.StillSpike wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 5:12 pm Will our boarding remuneration be dependent on these appraisals?
I assume by replying you have volunteered to be appraised first.

Re: Annual Boarding Appraisals
Probably not but you should try not to rely so heavily on only the one redeeming feature.HTH.

Re: Annual Boarding Appraisals
Apologies but I will have to postpone the appraisals for now as I've found something more interesting to do.
I will recommence once I get back from the Gryffe Inn. I trust youse are ok with this. If not, then tough.

Re: Annual Boarding Appraisals
Apart from criticising the extreme lefties as much as the doddering Brexit numbskulls, what is wrong with my boarding, pray tell?
Other than being irrelevant and unfunny, of course.

Annual Appraisals - how I hated doing those when I was running my businesses. I would rather go and get a b********g from a dissatisfied customer.

Re: Annual Boarding Appraisals
Apologies for the delay folks I appreciate this must be an anxious time for youse but I had a few more pints in the pub than planned last night.
Any roads lets start with Mr Andrew Gilson.
Strengths:
Resilience. This year he was binned by the club as a media/commentator sort because he was so far up the owners jacksees that his commentaries were barely audible. However, he has bounced back by appointing himself top banana of a bunch of amateur sports radio hacks. A clever move because their unintelligible ramblings almost make Gilso sound professional.
Commercialism: His empire of Tattatoria strung throught one small backward town in the South East goes from strength to strength driven by his trained eye for securing pure tat at bargain basement prices and selling it on to an unsuspecting public at a huge mark up.
Weaknesses: Continuing to brown nose the bosses in his posts and failing to ask the difficult questions
Development Points: Everything.

I know he’s got bigger fish to fry these days, like moderating the X-Factor fans forum, but has NU endorsed this exercise? I can’t take it seriously unless he has.
And does Gilso still annoy fellow cruise ship passengers with his unwanted karaoke crooning? Surely a bigger issue than his tat pedlar activities.
