So if nothing changes then the Retail Price Index will be no worse than it is now? The inflation rate will be the same? Unemployment figures will be the same? There will be no shortages of fuel? No shortages of medicine? No unnecessary deaths caused by those medicine shortages? No shortage of staff in the NHS and care services? Etc, et-bloody-cetera.....

It's hard for me to know how to gauge the social impact on the Country but I can hardly see it being for the good. So, let's compare notes in 12 months time - or say, 12 months after we leave with a No Deal (if we do.........).

The polls are all over the place today. In the remoaner Observer, the Tories have a 12 point lead over Labour (37/25) with the Libs on 16. In the no deal brexshit Express, it’s only 1 point (28/27) with the Libs on 20. Farage gets 13 on both.

Strange how both papers use polling firms that, generally speaking, return figures their readership wont be happy with.

As the Lib dems look to be on course to taking a large number of seats I cannot see how that could happen, they are never going to work with the Tories again and Labour certainly wont That just leaves the DUP and a couple of them may not get re-elected. The damage caused to the Tories by the Brexit party splitting the leave vote will be considerable, they are unlikely to win seats but will wipe out a lot Tory majorities.
