Favourite tackle

Post by Rich Tea Wellin »

No, not like that!

Think Curries tackle has to rate as one of the most heroic things I’ve seen from an orient player.

Hobbling about before hand and manages to keep up with one leg, then makes a perfectly timed sliding tackle in the penalty box to stop a cross into the box. The guys not even our player ffs.

Thought he was excellent last night. Him and Ollie nullified their best player from Saturday who got no joy and was rightly hooked.

100%, he's been incredible all season and like you said, he's not even ours!
That and as soon as Ethan's pen hit the net, whilst all the players ran to him Beckles went over to the Stockport players, touch of class. Love this team and love this club

We’re painfully close to being able to keep the band together for next season. Maybe Donley, Keeley, Currie, Galbraith (longer shot) would be willing to stay on next year if we go up. Get El Miz back too, and that’s a decent portion of the 1st XI sorted.

Galbraith must have secured his move to a big Championship side with that performance last night. He was outstanding.

Probably added yet another million to the price tag after last night. Quality player.

That Jack Currie tackle / moment was genuinely one of my favourite things I’ve ever seen live. You could see in his face he was hurt and he gave absolutely everything to stop the cross.

Hope it has not wrecked his chance of appearing at Wembley.

Ten days to get him fit. Him and Brown must be in a similar situation. Hopefully they can both make it. We are a better team with them in it. That said TJ was class when he came on.

Nah, he was just spent.

He'd already been over to the dugout and had a chat. Fevrier had been taken off so his task was complete.

In the magnitude of the game, I think that’s probably the. Est left back performance I have ever seen in all my years as an Orient fan. I desperately hope we go up so we can sign him.

Orient 3 v 3 Gillingham.

Currie was great but calm down. He wasn't even our best full back last night.

Lockwood’s hat trick was obviously remarkable but the job of a left back isn’t to score hat tricks. Defensively and all round that performance from Currie last night was exceptional. I also specifically said left back. Galbraith’s performance has nothing to do with it, and yes, he was also unbelievable.
