Not so sure. We could really do with Cooper in the pitch to deal with their aerial threat from set pieces. If you go with a 4 and replace Cooper with Currie, you need TJ at RB to give a bit more height in the back line.DrWindy wrote: ↑Sun May 11, 2025 12:47 amI am not sure TJ will start. He’s not had the minutes. I think he’ll go to a back four. Currie will come in. Ethan at RB. Hopefully Brown fit.Bandy Legs wrote: ↑Sat May 10, 2025 3:46 pmTJ & Cooper will start. TJ has been out for ages, Cooper did well at left back before. I would start Currie on Wednesday for as long as he can make it then play Cooper or Sweeney for the remainder of the game.
The main thing is we have to get Donley back in the 10 role.

R.E.G might be on the bench.
Unless Happe is miraculously fit.
Was he dancing at the starman anyone?

But then Cooper is weak on the ball and they’ll easily be able to press and stop us playing out.

Don’t think it matters too much.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun May 11, 2025 10:40 am But then Cooper is weak on the ball and they’ll easily be able to press and stop us playing out.
Partly cos reg and Beckles didn’t look too comfortable passing out under their press either and partly because I think we’ll go more direct any way to use our pace to get in behind as the away side

I’m a massive pessimist but I’ve never been this sure of a result before. I said a few days ago that I’d be be happy with a draw or or a 1-0 win, and with the way we play away right now they’ll be sh*t scared of us on the breakaway, plus I saw nothing that makes me scared of them.
We came away with a draw despite not being able to get our 3 most dangerous players in Donley, Galbraith and Agyei into the game for large parts of the match.
If Richie can make that happen on Wednesday, we’ll be ok.
Agree with your point there, Agyei didn’t have a great game but I trust Wellens to sort that out for the second leg. Perhaps I got a bit carried away last night but today I’m still confident of a win.
