4000 season tickets sold so far
It would be impressive to hit 5k.
Suspect that would be realised easily if Championship football is secured. I reckon people would be moaning about missing out when the likely cap would be introduced.

If they can sell 6,000 they will, all those tuesday games didn't help with extra financemoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:12 pmThe club will stop selling at around 4500. Same as last year

Not sure I agree. If they can squeeze another 500+ sales, especially if promotion happens, then they will.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:12 pmThe club will stop selling at around 4500. Same as last year

Exactly. They’ll want the money in the bank and guaranteed revenue.Pugwash wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:34 pmIf they can sell 6,000 they will, all those tuesday games didn't help with extra financemoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:12 pmThe club will stop selling at around 4500. Same as last year

3,000 sold so far is good and rightly so after the great football we've seen this season . I agree with others that if we managed promotion that figure would easily smash through the 5,000 barrier . Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

I agree . If the demand is there why would the club stop at 4,500. That would be crackers .LPE wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:39 pmExactly. It is more cash in the bank though. If we struggle there would be less match day sales

Which I guess is why they have capped it around half capacity previously, as a balance between the two.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 6:34 pmIt is more cash in the bank though. If we struggle there would be less match day sales
Even when we've been out of form this season, 3pm Saturday kick offs have sold very well.

How much did Nigel say we lost for live tv switches & internationals? £250k wasn't it. The Club won't make that mistake twice.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 6:36 pmWhich I guess is why they have capped it around half capacity previously, as a balance between the two.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 6:34 pmIt is more cash in the bank though. Would you like to know where we are going to finish next season as well, before making a decisions as well.....
A truly pointless statement

Lots of fans were pi$$ed off at the Saturday games that were moved to Tuesday nights,
Maybe it didn’t affect fans like you, if so, lucky you

Average gates are up 2k on the play off final season. One of the biggest achievements of the last ownership has been to significantly increase the number of people coming to games.
Was a bit disappointed by the number of people who cleared off after the final whistle but guess that's the flip side of attracting more casual fans.

That’s not apples with apples though. Our attendances have certainly gone up but not by that much. In 13/14 that number was bums on seats. Now it’s tickets sold.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 8:55 pm Average gates are up 2k on the play off final season. Gates are up more due to the fictitious reporting than anything else.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 8:55 pm Average gates are up 2k on the play off final season. One of the biggest achievements of the last ownership has been to significantly increase the number of people coming to games.

I thought the amount that hung around for the lap of honour was pretty decent, although I cleared off after that so no idea about the attendance for the speeches or whatever went on after that.

Not that many tbh. And I think Nigel may have been drunk. Which is fair enough, really.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 5:49 amGates are up more due to the fictitious reporting than anything else.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 8:55 pm Average gates are up 2k on the play off final season. Re: 3000 season tickets sold so far
So people did stay for the lap of honour to clap the players then cleared off when the directors started waffling on? Sounds reasonable to me.

It’s an individual choice of course, but I stayed to applaud the team, and listened to NT speak at the end. I would never do otherwise.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 5:58 am So people did stay for the lap of honour to clap the players then cleared off when the directors started waffling on?
