Agents fees 2024/25
The O's spent £172,049 on agents fees this season that is one of the lowest amounts in league one. Only Shrewsbury, Crawley. Exeter, Wigan Northampton and Mansfield spent less. Huddersfield (£1,160,403) were the highest spenders followed by Wrexham, Birmingham, Bolton and Charlton.

Incredible that these parasites have been able to creep into the game to the point where they're just accepted.
I wonder if any of the clubs feel they are value for money? I have never heard a club say so.
The days when a footballer could barely string a sentence together seem to be largely gone- some of the O's players have got degrees (for example), and you wonder why they would need to give part of their wages/fees to these bottom-feeders...
They must provide value somewhere along the line, but I am struggling (admittedly from outside the game) to see what it is.

Absolutely this, leeching off the talent of the players with none of their own. Was sent a good interview Simon Jordan did on this and agreed with everything he said.Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:22 pm Incredible that these parasites have been able to creep into the game to the point where they're just accepted.
