Re: Kelman
So pleased to see Kelman with 14 League goals, but he'd be way beyond 20 by now - if he didn't miss so many sitters. Something for him and the staff to work on here.

Re: Kelman
Impressive and sort of come from nowhere. Started alright then looked like a shell of a player, then something clicked.
Still elements to work on but he’s come on leaps and bounds and has flashes of pure class, like the second tonight

Re: Kelman
£7 million bid rejected for Kone
£10 million fee for Stansfield
Kelman now worth ???
Looking back at our top scorers of recent times it seems Bonne on 23 is the highest since 2000? Probably goes further back too, Kelman can write himself a bit of modern Orient history with a couple more strikes before end of the season.

Re: Kelman
Been arguably player of the season, alongside Currie. The optimist/fantasist in me imagines using the Galbraith money to bring the both of them in on a permanent.
I was skeptical about Kelman coming back but he's developed phenomenally under Wellens. Not only turned into a really good goalscorer but is basically the perfect fit for our system - presses well, competes for long balls effectively, has quick feet.

Re: Kelman
Both Stansfield and Kone has scored quite a few goals from the penalty spot. No player has scored more goals from open play than our Charlie.

He's a very unique kind of striker and won't fit into that many clubs playing systems. Someone will value him highly (other than his agent!) and he will be well rewarded. We have done QPR a turn, because he won't fit how they play.

Indeed . Well done Charlie on scoring twenty goals . It's a very good achievement.Bergen wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 10:14 pm Both Stansfield and Kone has scored quite a few goals from the penalty spot. No player has scored more goals from open play than our Charlie.

Re: Kelman
IIRC Simpson got most of those goals before Christmas. He was absolutely bossing the division.
As mixed as his spell in charge was, Ian Hendon got a tune out of Simpson for sure.
Back on topic- I am pleased for Kelman, who has ran his socks off for us all season disregarding the goals, and pleased for Fred!

Re: Kelman
That winner was a dream. Knew it was going in as soon as he hit it.
The confidence he now has is off the chart.
Minus pens, the top scorer in the division. What a season he has.
Beat Crawley and it will feel back on!

Re: Kelman
Still needs another as the JPT doesn't count, but a fantastic season so far nonetheless. Certainly never saw these numbers coming.

Re: Kelman
Interesting to see QPR fans views on Kelman on their boards
To sum it up, they’re not exactly salivating at the prospect of Kelman in the Chanpionship with them, although they admit Kelman has done himself proud here. Perhaps because Charlie was signed 4.5 years ago they are a bit jaded with him.
They don’t seem to know QPR have an option on Charlie for next season. Many think £500k -£1m wouldn’t be too bad for him.
Be interesting to see what happens, certainly RW has brought out the best in Kelman and maybe that will be a factor in where he ends up.
