Orients Worst Loanees
The worst loanees to ever play for us. Theres plenty to choose, but for me it has to be Calvin Andrew, with the keeper from Leeds whos name i could never pronounce, and whose name ive completely forgotten, running Calvin Andrew very close.
Nouble was also terrible

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
The guy from Watford who got sent off in his first outing for us. I think he came on as a substitute, he wasn’t even in the starting 11. He never played for us again. It was in the 2000s before promotion season of 05/06.

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
I thought Rhys Wilmot was pretty bad, for a season long loanee between the sticks he'd take some beating. We've a lot of keepers on this list!

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
A touch unfair . He was third choice at Bournemouth and hadn't played for ages . He came to us cold and was immediately compared to Edin who was a top class keeper . For me , Frank Nouble takes some beating . We might as well have played a statue because it would have been virtually the same thing .

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
It's a close call between him and Shwan Jalal, both derailing promotion pushes in their own hopeless ways
Jack Jeffrey was one that stands out in my mind, think he played 45 mins if that before being hooked and never seen again.
Also dishonourable mention for Kazaiah Sterling, we loaned a crocked player... was that some kind of budgetary dodge for Spurs?
Oh and also a shout out for the worst January transfer window ever which brought us the likes of Moss, Ray and Nouble... yikes

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
Yeah Calvin Andrew was shocking. Remember a ball bouncing for him to run clean through on and he just jogged until the defender cleared it. Couldn’t give a f***.
Sam Parkin useless too.
There’s a lot to choose from

From the dark days of NL
Zain Westbrooke - lightweight CM in a clogger's league
Levi Lumeka - young lightweight attacker with low workrate
Bondz N'Gala - rather dodgy CB

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
I've often wondered how such players keep being bought/loaned as they come to the ends of their careers; surely the clubs they are going to know what dross they are.

Re: Orients Worst Loanees
That was his second loan spell at the Gaughan. His first one kicked off with him breaking the jaw of a Swansea player and getting sent off.
He was later signed by Terence "bandage head" Butcher at Motherwell where he kicked his way through 86 games and was sold for £150K to Bristol City.

Yes. £20k I believe.
As for loanees - Calvin Andrew, Paul Ruchubka, Jack Jeffrey and David “ Lofty” Jones were all grim.
