Was always interested in the betrayal aspect of Dylan going electric and the scenes with Al Lomax, Dylan, and Pete Seeger explained that.
A well made film but strictly for fans of Bob Dylan as the actual songs and Chalomet’s near perfect impersonation of Dylan’s irritating voice and mannerisms make it a challenge for everyone else.

Severance Season 2

Entertaining but so much of the season has been pretentious silliness trying to be too abstract and clever.

Shame as I enjoyed the first season.

Agreed, the flashback episode where he meets his wife and the side episode where Cobell has the psychodrama were superfluous

Glossing over the performances from the psychologist in ep 3 and the mum/wife in ep 4 says everything.

Good points.

Laughing Out Loud on Prime. 10/10 comedy viewing. Ok, maybe 9/10 because of Sarah Pascoe.

Fear on Prime Video. Gotta be up there with the worst TV of this year. Only credit I give the makers is there are only 3 episodes.

Severance S2- just finished it. I still love it, but obviously its not added much to S1s big idea. There are probably still questions to be answered and its popular enough for them to drag it out for another series yet.

The office celebrations made me LOL out loud. A little peeved that soooo many storylines were left very unresolved - felt like more of a mid-season break than a season finale.

The marching band was great, although I still maintain that the Defiant Jazz scene from season 1 was the show's finest moment.

I'd have been quite happy for an ending with unanswered questions. For instance, when the alarm went off towards the end, did Helly R transform back into Helena E? Leaving that lingering doubt and the audience wanting more is a better way to end than the alternative.

But I've read that a third season has been commissioned, and it's going to be a few years before it's released. Personally, I think that's too long and they'd be best off leaving it where it is.

Why would she have become Helena?

There are clearly built in mechanisms that enable Lumon to un-sever/re-sever the innies/outies. When the "red alert" thing happened, you can see an immediate change of facial expression wash over Helly R. And the way she glances back at Mark S's wife as he runs back into the corridor with her could convey a meanness that was part of Helena's personality, but not Helly R's.

It would be quite something if, unbeknownst to Mark, he hasn't abandoned his wife for the lovely Helly R, but instead has fallen into Helena E's trap.

Just watched the most amazing film. A Norweigian film called "Number 24" on Netflix It's about the Norweigian resistance and the acting and production of this film kept me absolutely rivited. Highly recommended.

Yes it was brilliant - fascinating story and really, really well told.

If you've not seen it - another one I enjoyed was "The 12th Man"

Started watching S3 of The White Lotus, seeing the Camp Commandant from The Zone Of Interest in it was quite jarring.

Don't know if any of you lot still watch terrestrial TV, but "This Is Our City" on BBC1 is pretty fantastic. Never a dull moment in this tale of drug dealing Scouse Scallies - even I was prepared to tolerate the accent. No jumping backwards and forwards in time every scene either. Unique in this day and age. 8 episodes on I player.
