Goal return has gotten better but he's basically doing the modern version of a target man - sacrificing himself to improve the overall set up.

Keeley has shown in the last month that he is a League 1 keeper for the time being. Great shot stopper but erratic kicker, straight up poor at dealing with corners, and has a screw up in him. He loves it here so easy to see him coming back.

We need to overhaul central midfield, a couple of new full backs, a new striker, potentially someone to replace Agyei and likely a new winger. 6-7 players is a lot but feels like we'll be building from a better base than we were last summer.
QPR have been subsidising Kelmans wages for at least 3 years now so will want payback - as much as he loves it here and working for Richie, I can't see the financials working out. I hope I'm wrong.

Makes sense for Keeley to come back here. Championship is absolutely a step too far just now.

Brown and Abdulai are the foundation of our midfield for next season, so doesn't really need an overhaul.

Why do we need to replace Agyei? You reckon he's off?

We won’t be experimenting until it’s mathematically impossible to reach the playoffs and rightly so.

I’d like to see Abdulai in CM considering that’s the position he said was his natural position and we need a ball carrier there

Agyei seems like the sort of player that a bigger club could take a punt on based on his talent and it not be a massive deal if his fitness doesn't hold up. I can see him at a Charlton or Luton if they come down.

Kelman is out of contract and difficult to imagine his contract gets renewed. We're a good fit for where he is in his career.

Despite having what, 7-8 players capable of playing central midfield, we've been starting Pratley and Brown most games this season, which was definitely never the plan. The options we've had have either not been fit enough or good enough to play there regularly. That needs to change. Abdulai strikes me as more of a 10.

Interested to know how Warrington has gotten on at Salford as don't think we should see him as a lost cause quite yet.

Not saying that he's not worth it but financially it wouldn't make sense for a club to spend that much on him. Depending on who bids but in terms of concrete interest i.e someone making a bid rather than just rumored to be then its only Swansea so theres not even hope of pushing the price up with a bidding war. He'll go for relatively cheap compared to what he is worth somewhere around £1.5m would be my guess.
So if all we can get is £1.5m that's what he is worth. No?
Its a fair point and yes technically a player is only worth the fee that they are signed for. His value would certainly be higher if he had a longer contract but in terms of worth or player value there are too many variables in football for to be that simplistic.

I hope we are enquiring to Oxford as to el miz on loan or a small fee. Considering he hasn’t featured much recently I don’t think it’s out of the question

Don’t think he is out of contract. Signed a new one January 2024. They probably have at least a year option.

Yes, 83rd minute sub for Salford, think we might as well put that one down as one that didn’t work out. We can’t win them all.
