Yes. And Mrs FTC is getting most annoyed at having to wait for weekly episodes.

The Outrun on Netflix. Saw it last year in the cinema and was one of my favourites of the year

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Went to see Dylan Moran last night, first time at any comedy for yonks. And it was...bad. I know he's done the "is he pissed, is he not pissed?" schtick for quite some time but I saw him about 10 years ago at the Apollo and he was brilliant, definitely on the right side of whimsical and shambolic but clearly knew what he was doing. Last night he just mumbled for 25 minutes - granted, the sound wasn't great - rambled along then pretty much just wandered off stage, having done less of a set than the supports. Have since read online he's done a divorce and gone downhill a bit, sad if so. Highlight was probably the guy behind saying to his Mrs "I can't take any more of this" before they walked out.

Saw Dustin O’Halloran at Union Chapel in the week. Never been there before but aside from the uncomfortable pews it was quality

Homestead Rescue series 12 Ep10.
Marty is having awful problems keeping bears off the property in Southern Alaska. He tries everything fron 8ft high tensile steel fencing, boards with big nails sticking out of them and bear spray for the really argumentative bears. Some of these things work, some don't. I don't know why he doesn't just shoot them.

Not watched yet but have Adolescence on Netflix lined up. Looks superb, has rave reviews but also looks hard going. Wonder if Stephen Graham has ever considered doing a sitcom?

Think casting directors have worked out that putting Stephen Graham in something results in automatic rave reviews

He does have a tendency to play the suppressed-rage-inflicted scouser character quite a bit, doesn't he?Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:32 am Not watched yet but have Adolescence on Netflix lined up. He's the go-to choice for when they need an archetypal, state educated, white working class geezer.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:39 am Think casting directors have worked out that putting Stephen Graham in something results in automatic rave reviews

Ah so that explains why he got the part of Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire. I suspected that might be the case.Dunners wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:43 amHe's the go-to choice for when they need an archetypal, state educated, white working class geezer.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:39 am Think casting directors have worked out that putting Stephen Graham in something results in automatic rave reviews
He's actually a very good actor and is versatile enough to play many different characters.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
I saw the trailer for this which was quite unbelievable with armed Cops going into a family home at 6.30am in the morning to very aggressively arrest a 12 year old in his bed. Who was yelling to his dad "I didn't do nuttin'".Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:32 am Not watched yet but have Adolescence on Netflix lined up. Despite his loud protestations of innocence I suspect he has done summin'. Otherwise why would the police arrest him?
