Wonder if that has anything to do with it. By looking at twitter there’s loss of dickhead kids who went last night to prove they were a real fan and to abuse Southend.
Hope they get found and banned. This allegation and the Salford crap leaves a sour taste.

I was walking past the incident and heard a Southend fan shout "you can't say that it's racist you bunch of ******"

To be fair Southend fans (most of which were just family of players or an older set people who are probably part of their supporters club not looking for trouble) were sitting there all night taking alot of abuse from people who look like they are off the set of Benadorm perma tan included. To be fair they didn't really react until the end. I was just embarrassed for us really.

Did not hear any racist language but certainly he was abused your'e f***in s*** etc Blackman reacted & stormed over confronting the fans saying I will kill you. I then saw a black lady (maybe his Mum though quite young maybe 40) arguing with O's fans too. Think she came from the Southend end but not sure. Couple of Police at that end but did nothing. Not sure as per that tweet if it carried on when the Southend players came out & carried on prior to leaving on their coach

Wonder if someone shouting his surname among the foul mouthed abuse has been misinterpreted as racist abuse (unless there was deliberate mispronunciation of his name). Not that abusive language is much better.

Looking at their results that could have been Sarfend's fans "Shouting you're f**King s**t" at them.

That's what I was thinking as well. If this happened then I seriously doubt it came from the regular fans . Probably people who just came along on the night to see Southend in particular .

I clicked on this thread thinking that I was gonna read how well he played.

He was up and down that left side all evening. I thought he was their standout player and wouldn't mind him signing for our lot.

OFF was not at the game i'm led to believe .
