Idris

Post by Bandy Legs »

Have noticed he's not played a part in the last 4 Oxford games since the new guy took over ( bench Warner in 3 )
Is he worth a cheeky loan bud I wonder?

If only we didn't already have 5 loanees, then no doubt we would have at least inquired.

A cheeky bid of £250,000 might bring Idris back. All depends on Oxfords financial position, & Idris's likelihood to take a drop in wages. Worth a go though

"Idris"
Like Elvis, and Jesus, the surname is redundant.
Says a lot..

His footballing career consists of 1 full season at L2 and 1 full season at L1, that's it. It's no surprise he hasn't instantly set the Championship on fire. I'm sure they're more than happy with having him as part of their matchday squad.

If he wasn't making that it's a different matter and maybe they'd have considered loaning him out.

Someone said the name "Idris" is redundant!
I think Britvic still use it for one of their brand of drinks.
I used to love their lemonade.
I here it was first produced by a chemist in Seven Sisters Road around 1870. So slightly older than the O's !

I love Idris, one of best CM we have had for years, and I would love to see him back in an Orient shirt, but do you honestly think Orient will pay £250k for a player 🤔

Absolutely no chance, and as much as I love Idris, if we were going to spend £250k, which we def won’t, I would want it spent on a No.9.

He’s gone from team captain and first on the team sheet at Orient to a surplus to requirements at Oxford. He was happy here and progressing. I think he’d jump at the opportunity. The City game can pay for him.
