What a great supporter. Worse than Alabi! Great to have support like this. Good job we didn't win the game. Your taking the p*ss.

Another negative so called fan hoping some of our players fail.
A 'negative so called fan' for 50 years so just calling it as I see it. Of course I don't want players to fail. Typical of this board for people to attack the individual.

I thought Gorman was great when he first arrived but he has not in my opinion played at the level we need in L2. He and Alabi were the weakest links. If Justin Edinburgh was still alive then the hard truth is Alabi would not be in the squad

Overall it was a poor game with nobody really stamping their class on it. The one bright spot was Ogie who really was excellent. Saw him at the Harlow pre season game and he showed promise then so great to see him improving fast

He was injured when he first arrived. He is a player that has played league two level. So I have no idea what you are on about and I suspect you have no clue either.

You got to love it when some boarders say “been a negative fan for 50 years”

Saw on Twitter that Gorman and the other lad had some previous in a reserve game, so I think on balance Gorman did intend to do him, which was a real stupid thing to do considering it was in front of the ref.

Also Alabi's miss was a bad one and it is no real defence, but it came off the post first and he had gone already. But it was not as if the ball was fizzed in, and I think a striker with a better instinct would have got it.

I feel for the guy, as he knows that he is taking some right stick now and it must be a blow to his confidence. Where is the club standing up for this player? I accept that even the club know he isn't going to cut it here, but why not back him publicly? He works hard, just not enough quality.

I seem to remember an Orient hour last year when Ling snr was on, and when someone called up about Alabi he admitted that the move hadn't worked out yet. That might be true, but it seems double standards not to keep it in house.

Ross' words during pre season were pretty warm about Alabi. I certainly think the club are backing him.

That's 3 cameo appearances from Gorman this season and he's done someone in every game.

He needs to sort it out. Pronto.

Agree - he seems to have a bit of nasty streak in him, and it isn't like he's putting in stellar performances the rest of the time.

I do feel a bit for Alabi, he's entertaining, but as someone said he wouldn't be here if JE was still around.

I can't fathom why Ross would choose Alabi to show he's his own man, I just can't see that bet coming good.

I do feel a bit sorry for Alabi. I think he’s trying his best but what is required is more than he’s got in his locker. As for Gorman, I think maybe frustration is creeping into his game because he knows he should and can do better but it’s not happening for him.

I thought it was a very entertaining game, played at a good pace with plenty of commitment from both teams. Considering we started with only four first choice players and Southend with only three the match was far from poor.

We all have to find our level in life and for Alabi and perhaps Gorman, L2 is above their standard at the moment.
