Re: Dan Potts
I think these sort of players would be perfect, short-term deal with option for longer, player comes in wanting to prove themselves, can obviously play at this level or a be a squad player
It is time to get the cheque book out in a sensible way

Re: Dan Potts
Just didn't play him, no real injury record, looks like Nathan Jones just didn't rate/fancy him

Re: Dan Potts
Scored the winning penalty at Wembley to put Luton Town in the PL in 2023. If Beckles injury is a long term one then we could do far worse than enquiring about a short term deal with Potts imho.

Re: Dan Potts
Simpson is back shortly so we should have 3 fit centre backs . We should be OK with the CB positions .Use that money for a midfielder or striker instead.redintheface wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 3:49 pm Scored the winning penalty at Wembley to put Luton Town in the PL in 2023. Re: Dan Potts
would rather spend the money on a striker, but with perkins apparently being signed on a perm, we could potentially get a striker in on loan (mainly as backup to kelman) and as we wouldn't have to spend as much (obviously wages), we could bring in dan potts. Kelmans eventually gonna have fitness issues if we play him twice a week every week, he needs a backup

Re: Dan Potts
Perkins is being signed because we are over our loan quota for matchday squads (5). Any newbies will be perms or temps.DelightInE10 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:25 pm would rather spend the money on a striker, but with perkins apparently being signed on a perm, we could potentially get a striker in on loan (mainly as backup to kelman) and as we wouldn't have to spend as much (obviously wages), we could bring in dan potts. Re: Dan Potts
We already have too many loans (6), that is why Perkins is being signed!DelightInE10 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 6:02 pmfrees up a loan spot to get a striker in on loan to back up KelmanThe Mindsweep wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:48 pmPerkins is being signed because we are over our loan quota for matchday squads (5). Re: Dan Potts
We have our on loan quota of 5 without Perkins being one of them. That’s the reason why Perkins has not played recently. No point in getting another loanee if he can’t be included in the match day squadDelightInE10 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:25 pm would rather spend the money on a striker, but with perkins apparently being signed on a perm, we could potentially get a striker in on loan (mainly as backup to kelman) and as we wouldn't have to spend as much (obviously wages), we could bring in dan potts.
