Underpants
Are they an acceptable present to give or receive at Xmas? New ones I mean (of course).
Personally I prefer not to have alien undercrackers imposed upon me or my buttocks. But I wondered what other MB contributors opinion is on this essential Xmas dilemma?
I would also love to know what other taboo kind of gifts one should avoid during this festive time
Ho ho ho
Merry Xmas &c

Re: Underpants
I've asked for - and received - pants in the past. I'm annoying to buy gifts for as there's not really much I ever want (hashtag blessed etc) so if I need something, sometimes just ask for practical stuff.

On the money here. I’m very particular as to my choice of gunts. So so wish I would have bought my favs in bulk for my lifetime.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 7:48 pm Are they an acceptable present to give or receive at Xmas? New ones I mean (of course).

Re: Underpants
Acceptable from your lover only.
I think everyday gifts are really boring and show a lack of thought. I'd really prefer to receive nothing than for example a Lynx Africa deodorant and shower gel set.

Re: Underpants
If Christmas is for anything, then it's an opportunity for men to receive their annual supply of pants and socks. The trick is to embrace it and lower your expectations.

Re: Underpants
There was an article recently about women who were struggling to think of things to buy their male partner, to stop overthinking it because men want kitchen utensils and socks and I couldn’t agree more

Re: Underpants
I hate being asked what I want for Christmas or my birthday. if there was anything I wanted I'd have bought it already. When I respond with "nothing really", that's not me trying to be difficult. I'm just being honest.
The annual supply of pants and socks will at least be useful, so should not be seen as a poor choice of present. It's now one less thing I need to think about sorting out for myself, so I'm more than happy to receive them.

Re: Underpants
Both my mum and dad came from large families so I had loads of uncles and aunts. Most of them gave us Christmas presents, probably up to the age of 15 or so. When I was 13 I think, one aunt gave me a pack of pants which I can still remember vividly. They were red Y's with black trim and the black trim had little sparkly bits on them. I just thought WTF? Bad enough you give me pants, but could you imagine stripping of for gym at school wearing these? The following year she gave me a Paisley Pattern silk scarf and a can of gents hairspray. I didn't turn out gay by the way, Auntie Nellie.

I like reused ones, classic skids range from Barnys brown gussets. I gift them every year to sarfend fans
