My opinion of many politicians, but not all, is equally poor. I’ve probably voted Labour more than Tory but in recent years Labour have chosen badly when selecting leaders. Liked John Smith and the other Milliband, not the numpty one. And supported Blair for much of his time, enjoyed the New Labour movement. Also a great fan of Thatcher, Cameron and Major.

Because if you care to read, I’m neither a Tory nor a Labour supporter. I go with whomever I think will be the best PM. I’m comfortable saying the Tories got a lot wrong. They paid the price and were kicked out.

But Jeez, Labour are getting so much wrong and so quickly. I don’t think I can recall an election winning PM ever going downhill at such a speed. Most enjoy a decent honeymoon period. When answering questions too they are a one trick pony. To be expected for a while but it wears a bit thin.

I’ve just seen Diane Abbott on TV criticising broken Labour promises over the pension payout, alongside photos of the Labour Top 3 parading with placards demanding compensation just a couple of years ago. Wow. Hypocrisy from Starmer and his top team. I would say beyond belief, but of course it is fully believable. A freeloading hypocrite far worse than those he criticised.

You do realise all this is in your head, right?
The polls, comments, even Diane Abbot on TV? In my head? Yer aving a laugh.

Liar, liar, pants on fire, as my old mum used to say. I think you'll find out what a dictatorship looks like if Farage gets in.

Are you for real ? A dictatorship? And you were a fan of Thatcher who sold the country to the highest bidder! Cameron - austerity for a couple of years - who didn’t know the cost of a pint of milk! Also what did Major achieve? Plus 14 years of the Tories giving the country bugger all! I assume you also think Boris Johnson was good for the country - someone who thought he was above the law!
Make a true assessment of Labour after 14 years in power.

Deflection. This is a Labour watch forum. Sidetracking to the Tories is simply just trying to avoid the current shambles with whataboutery.

Labour needs to be judged on what they say and do. Growth down, inflation up, many people worse off already, with more to come. The budget was not one for growth unless everybody and their dog who live in the real world are wrong. Mortgages not dropping as fast as they could etc. And they are proving to be just as bad as the Tories despite all this holier than thou stuff they talked about. 6 months and they are already plummeting at record speed.

Unless you have your head in the sand you know what I am saying is true.

I thought after 14 years of Tory lies we were all thousands of pounds a year worse!
Am I wrong? My head is held very high, like I said only 6 months in.

1) Rishi Sunak was “the most liberal prime minister we’ve ever had on immigration”.

2) Mass immigration “happened by design, not accident”.

3) British government is “broken”.

4) The UK is a “one-nation experiment in open borders”.

5) The British state is wallowing in “the tepid bath of managed decline”.

Who said those in the past week? Farage?…no..Rosemary, the telephone operator? No!…Starmer? Could be!

And he'll act all surprised and offended when Reform win the next election. This is real 4-D chess from a master politician.

Someone who's literally admitted they only come on here to post drivel and WUM, posting about his hit rate on the other Board, yet people still give them the exact attention he craves, again and again. Just can't understand it. Ignore him.

Quite.

Top Tip : If you see someone having a w@nk, and that offends you, don't whisper sexy stuff in their ear to help them along.

Thing is I don’t think it offends them per se and they just see it as an opportunity to do something they enjoy, argue with strangers on the internet.

Maybe we need to have an intervention and get them on to a substitute drug by introducing them to Twitter to feed their needs

Starmer has made his pick for USA ambassador when Trump takes office. He’s chosen someone who can take on the back stabbing , money obsessed, scheming narcissist who should’ve been out of politics years ago.

He’s brought back Peter Mandleson

Thing is what I post is a genuine reflection of what Labour are doing and the general reaction it generates. I can’t claim to have any deep and meaningful insight on what’s going on. Just following the masses reflecting the general consensus. Even many Labour MPs. Even Diane Abbot on the latest betrayal.

I just say to people, ignore me and look at what’s happening. For what it’s worth I’m not happy at all. Don’t really affect me too much but it’s fecking up the futures of people I care about.

That’s why people take issue with you

Not because of what you’re saying but because you’re genuinely not partisan like them and only point out mistakes when you see them.

You want a better country and aren’t constrained by party politics - I applaud that
