Thanks gshaw for that post
Bandylegs, I didn’t say RW said we are in for Donley, it’s the opposite, he’s on premier league wages that we can’t afford.
Be great if we can sign Keeley, think he’s a real prospect
I didn't say you said anything about Donley.
I quoted what RW said, however as we can't afford Donleys wages, can I ask you how we could afford Keeleys being he is also a Premiership player on Premiership wages at the same Premiership club Donley is at on wages you have just stated we can't afford?
Donley Tottenham think could make it and holds good value either in for Tottenham in the future or probably 10 mil from a Championship club, Keeley they don't value at all really thus he will be on low wages
Spurs don't rate an u-21 International keeper who has been called up more than once to the full international squad?

There is some hyperbole calling him an international, it's Republic of Ireland not England, France, Germany, Spurs want players for top six in the Premier or sale value which Donley may be in years to come, Keeley has no value at all to Tottenham, if you rewind a few months back he was basically an emergency loan here to sit on the bench till he came in and done well

I didn't call him an International keeper. I said he was an U-21 International who has been called up to a full International squad
George Best Pat Jennings Georgi Hagi, Stoichkov & many more didn't play for England France or Germany.
Hardly Hyperbole to call someone an U-21 International, but cheers for your point.
Back to the point though - you think Spurs rate him? I'm pretty sure they've realised he's never going to be a first team player, they're just seeing how much they can recoup from keeping him on.

I don't really care what Spurs think of him.
All I know is that's he is a 21 yo premier league teams property. People have stated that Donley as a 19 yo
premier league player is out of our price range but hopefully we can sign Keeley.
I'm still unsure of any point they are making & how they think we can magically find a fee for JK as well as whatever wage he would accept & how its so different to Donley. Potential they say. For me Tom Carroll was way better.
Wellens has clearly had orders from the top to set low expectations about January. We desperately need some investors who are actually willing to spend. Grateful for everything the current owners have done but clearly they have run out of interest and/or cash. Going to be very hard justifying season ticket price increases again if they consistent bring in freebies and loanees kids every transfer window.
Interesting how the piece above was deleted from the conversation as my comments related to this. First of all what proof do do you have to use the word “clearly” twice in your above statement, first he clearly has orders from the top to set low expectations about January, secondly the owners have clearly run out of interest and or cash, just because they are looking for new investors show they have the clubs best interest at heart as they have done since they stepped in and saved the club from administration , you do them a great disservice. Finally what proof do you have season ticket prices will be rising next season, as according to your recent comments we are building a squad for league 2.
It’s not what you say it’s more the way you empathise it with words that are not actually true mate just tone it down a bit
What a doubly hilarious post.
First you reply to your own comment (I guess you forgot to log into the other alias account first…??). And the comment you reply to is having a dig at me for not including something from earlier in the conversation yet you elected to remove the most important bit of the conversation: the thing I was actually replying to (where somebody falsely accused me of changing my opinion about January transfers).
You’ve had an absolute nightmare here. What’s even funnier is that some of your criticism of my original post is actually fair enough but you’ve completely misunderstood what I was responding to Cockhat about in the first place.
There we go not answered one of the questions I asked you, do you do ballroom dancing ? You certainly have a great sidestep.
Have a great day.

You need to direct your comments towards RW
All ‘people’ on here have done is report back what the club/RW have said.
That’s it.

Up above, someone stated Spurs don't rate Keeley. You challenged that (stating his international credentials).
You can't now state you don't care.
No I challenged stuff way before that, others claiming that RW & a Director said we were hoping to sign Keeley.
Keep up mate, you're normally much sharper than this.

Nobody has reported any such thing officially.
You claimed it was a director & RW.
I've not claimed a thing & don't need to do anything with RW
When we signed Ollie O'Neill In January from Fulham we paid an undisclosed fee. I suspect the fee was low and Fulham have a very large percentage sell on clause as part of the deal.
A Josh Keeley deal, if it happens, may well have similar terms.

Very strange contribution to the thread
I know right? Accurate facts from a verifiable source, not quite what you were expecting
An Orient fan podcast Isn't a reliable source
At 3.40 seconds
" Living in cloud Cickoo land".
Sounds like RW might be talking about a few on this board

Richie said He wanted us to sign Idris, he said we'd made an offer to Idris.
What Richie says & what Richie wants, Isn't always what Richie gets.
And that has what exactly to do with him saying Kelman at current wages is out of our league?
He has the same decision Bonne did a year or so back, drop wages for regular football in L1 or chase the coin and in the long run end up dropping down the leagues
