Final episode of wolf hall was good I thought.

Spoiler alert!: Thomas Cromwell is not alive anymore. Excellent series of 'legal' debates with his accusers.

Mark Rylance really is brilliant.

Just finished Jackal's final episode. Great series and a good reimagining.

I really hoped that I'd like this but it wasn't great. The Heroine's acting was abysmal, Redmayne was good, but the plot and dialogue were truly terrible. I finished the series out of pure doggedness. I really don't get the hype for this at all.

Agree about the heroine. As I stated earlier, while not necessarily a plausible baddie, Redmayne is definitely a plausible Edward Fox.

I think, on reflection, what I liked most were the little call backs to the original film, which I enjoyed seeing them ticked off.

That Christmas, on Netflix. I don't care if it's typical Richard Curtis slop (but animated) - watched with kiddo and we all liked it. Will probably watch again.

Lee- woman takes some photos of the war. Thats it. Winslet at least gets them out a few times to liven things up. 6/10

How does getting the photos out liven things up?

Watched the second part of the immigration show on iplayer talking to all the major political figures of the last 30 years who’ve been involved. Actually very interesting to see all the broken promises and the use of it as a political football

Bad enough first time around. Quality fell off a cliff after the original writer was fired after first couple of series.
