Better than it was!! 3 wins on the trot inbound and a FA Cup home draw v Man City to look forward to.

We simply must beat Burton , Crawley and Cambridge if we' hope to stay up . All three games are six pointers . I can't see us getting anything from Wigan and Barnsley and I'm not looking forward to Bristol Rovers . It's set for Ruel Sotiriou and Shaq Forde to remind us what we've been missing

That run of games will very likely define our season. Basically all the relegation rivals one after the other. Bristol Rovers are in there twice in space of a couple of weeks too.
The usual script is Sotiriou comes on to score the winner and celebrate Ebou Adams style in front of the home fans. Over to you Mr Happe and Mr Beckles to make sure it doesn't happen.

A draw against MC would be winnable by the Dagenham Girl Pipers.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:20 amBetter than it was!! 3 wins on the trot inbound and a FA Cup home draw v Man City to look forward to.

Re: 5 in 8
Absolutely . We lost our top goal scorer from last season and Shaq Forde . I hope they don't remind us of that fact in a couple of weeks time .

Yet another Negative opening post.
What is wrong with all these half empty people.
Obviously bored, Posho you need to get out more.

Re: 5 in 8
Amazing to think how lacklustre we’ve been
in front of goal and to think we got 60% of
those goals in a 40 min spell v Blackpool ..

Re: 5 in 8
We miss El Miz badly, still shuffling midfielders around trying to find a solid unit and the best performer in the gap he vacated is a RB
Re: 5 in 8
Winnable games are the games we tend to lose. Everyone thought Shrewsbury was a nailed on win!

So it sounds like your banking on nine points out of nine for those 3 games?...!!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 1:18 pmWe simply must beat Burton , Crawley and Cambridge if we' hope to stay up . Re: 5 in 8
I might be mental but I still don’t see us being relegated. Granted, a couple of key injuries and we are in trouble. Bottom half yes but think we’ll have enough we 4-5 games to go

Re: 5 in 8
Other than Mizouni being a big loss, it doesn't feel like the squad is weaker than last season really. Injuries and fitness are again a big issue (Theo, Graham, Clare are all arguably first team players if fit) and Wellens has messed around with tactics a lot more than id have liked, but if Agyei and O'Neill can get some consistency back in their games, we should be fine.

Re: 5 in 8
and three of those five were in one game!
(we're not getting relegated though, even if the squad is weaker than last season)
