Tesco Clubcard
Finally gave in and got one of these today.
Curious to know what’s the most points a border has collected, what it translated to in terms of finances value and what they spent it on.

Re: Tesco Clubcard
It was Tesco, I believe, who pioneered this incentive. Remember the Green Shield Stamps venture many years ago. There was a rival who pushed their blue stamps.

Re: Tesco Clubcard
I find it really annoying that a lot of retailers now want you to have a loyalty card or app to get the best prices

It’s almost as if they’re encouraging you to shop in their shop, the sneaky so and so’s.

Re: Tesco Clubcard
That’s where they get you. They always had specials on, and often those prices are on sale at the same time on the same item at different supermarkets. But now you have to be a member to get that price. And psychologically it feels very satisfying. Great idea

Re: Tesco Clubcard
I think we've got them all, sometimes 3 or 4 smaller shops across tesco ocado sainsbury & waitrose & can seriously save £50-75 quid a month. A bit embarrassing when they both turn up at the same timeRich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:16 amThat’s where they get you. Re: Tesco Clubcard
Morrisons have also started doing the reduced price for goods but only with their More card.
If they didn't sell Furstenbergs I would never go there. Prefer M&S Food Hall in Paisley even though it means going to bandit country.

Re: Tesco Clubcard
They do vouchers and discounts on certain days on certain limited food groups but no scheme akin to Club card prices.
Re: Tesco Clubcard
I see Coop have changed their membership offer as well where you used to earn cash back on their own branded stuff
Now all you get is 5p off your plain croissant
