Have you ever listened to Trump rambling on.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:26 pm Just watch and listen to Biden . That should be enough .
He has to say the same thing 3 or 4 times to remember what the f*ck he’s going on about, then 5 minutes later he starts on the same subject because he’s forgotten what he’s said!

MAGA is about taking America back to the pre-WW2 period, when the US was more isolationist.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:42 pm Also isn't MAGA about taking America back to a time where there was a constant nuclear threat?

Also, what the hell has Biden got to do with anything now? He wasn't even standing to be elected. No doubt. Unfortunately it wasn't bad enough to prevent Mary McLeod leaving the Western Isles of Scotland and moving to America and spawning the Trumpet. Dawned immigrants!

There are different elements and agendas within the ragbag of fascist and racist MAGA scum. Isolationism is one position. War with Iran is another less isolationist position.Dunners wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 2:15 pmMAGA is about taking America back to the pre-WW2 period, when the US was more isolationist.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:42 pm Also isn't MAGA about taking America back to a time where there was a constant nuclear threat?

Oh , I thought it was Biden who gave permission to launch America’s long range missiles into Russia . I didn’t realise Trump had already started his term as presidentBoniO wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 2:26 pmAlso, what the hell has Biden got to do with anything now? He wasn't even standing to be elected. Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
We need a peace deal very quickly IMO
The West will have to accept ( I think they already have), that Ukraine will not regain the land lost in battle, and in return, Russia will have to allow Ukraine to join the EU, and then NATO, in time

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
Russia is winning and could plausibly be looking at total victory should Trump cut support to Ukraine. They have no incentive to start peace talks that give them anything short of their original aims - change of government, Ukraine as an effective client state that will never join the EU or NATO, and annexation of all claimed territories and complete control of the sea of azov.
The speculation is that they'll start the pretence of peace talks to slow down arms supply to Ukraine from the west and keep pushing forward whilst negotiating. The idea that peace is in the gift of the west to give is really naive as it assumes Russia are ready to engage on peace, which they haven't given any indication of.

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
In reality, that’s how this war will end . In the meantime Ukraine has claimed Russia as launched an intercontinental ballistic missile .

On the BBC lunchtime news the UK government has said the launch of an intercontinental missile is deeply concerning

Yeah, but that's just the UK Government. Until we get official message board confirmation, I wouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 1:41 pmOn the BBC lunchtime news the UK government has said the launch of an intercontinental missile is deeply concerning

Some great advice on that page. Particularly the part about staying positive - not like it's the end of the world is it?StillSpike wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 3:23 pmWhy on Earth anyone would want to survive WW3 is beyond me.The Mindsweep wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 3:14 pm https://parcilsafety.uk/pages/how-to-su ... n%20usable.

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
I can remember years ago a UK government video on how to survive a nuclear blast . My two favourites are with only 15 minutes warning to whitewash your whole house to deflect the heat from the blast. The second was to put your bed mattress up against a wall and hide behind it . Yeah, so basically you’re dead .The Mindsweep wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 3:14 pm https://parcilsafety.uk/pages/how-to-su ... n%20usable.

Just to add , looking on the bright side of things we’ll all get a lovely suntan . Also our pensioners won’t need to worry about the winter fuel allowance because we’ll all be lovely and warm. …..well hot actually.
