Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Cannot see any mention of the draw yesterday. There is 1 match to be played in Northern Draw

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Last couple of years it's been drawn at the end of November. Think we are still a week away

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Edited from the Yahoo Sport website today
The next round, the round of 32, will be played the week commencing the 9th of December. The date for the draw for the next round hasn't yet been confirmed publicly but in recent years it has always taken place towards the end of November. There remains one more game, next week, when Rotherham tackle Bradford and the draw will presumably take place on the other side of that game, so watch this space.
The dates of the coming rounds
Round of 32: W/C 9 December
Round of 16: W/C 13 January
Quarter-Finals: W/C 3 February
Semi-Finals: W/C 17 February
Final: 13 April
Prize money
Each side is given £20,000 for participating in the competition, and then you're awarded £10,000 for each victory and £5,000 for each draw in the group stage.
Sides who reach the last 32 and progress earn £20,000 more and then £40,000 if they win their last 16 tie. As much as £50,000 is up for grabs for the victors of the quarter finals and then you receive £100,000 if you win the final at Wembley - £50,000 more is sent to the runner up of the competition.

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
u21 teams should be excluded from the prize money and also pay £10k to the opposing proper team for the experience of each fixture.

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Orient are 40/1 e/w 1-2 (Bet365). I would suggest a small wager to at least pay for the Wemberleee tickets.

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
I'll vote for that especially when you consider the results. Non league Wealdstone beat Southampton U21 3-1. Barrow beat A Villa U21 3-0. Huddersfield beat Manchester United U21 4-1. Lincoln beat Manchester City 5-0. Notts County beat Leicester City 1-0. Colchester beat Arsenal U21 3-0 which is one of the reasons we are in the next round.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 4:57 pm u21 teams should be excluded from the prize money and also pay £10k to the opposing proper team for the experience of each fixture.

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Agree but tbf Wealdstone beating Southampton kids was in a completely different competition.
And obviously, we somehow managed to lose to Arsenal's u21s despite them being rotten.

Re: NEXT ROUND DRAW
Could have been away to Burton, Exeter or Cheltenham in the other side of the draw. Seems a convoluted system.
