It's not just racist. It's an example of white supremacy. Which is, like, a really bad racism.

They are leveraging their anglo-whiteness to deliberately misinterpret ethnic naming conventions for comedic effect. That can only come from a sense of superiority. I'd have thought that one or two of the contributors above, given their heartfelt expressions of concern for the plight of arabs on a certain other thread, would be particularly aware of this.
