I have seen the video of referee David Coote making disparaging remarks about Jurgen Klopp and agree that there was no option but to suspend him from duty.
It was a very careless thing to do to allow himself to be filmed whilst probably drunk.Sonin one regard he must take the blame and accept the fallout.
However, the person who filmed him and decided to leak the video to social media is in my opinion the biggest snake of all time. What awful thing to do to expose one moment of drunken indiscretion to the world thereby destroying his victim’s reputation.

If somebody is filmed doing/saying something they shouldn’t they don’t suddenly become the “victim” just because the filming was secret.

I think it's a real storm in a teacup. He's been silly and caught out on a video made years ago, probably high off his tits judging by the content. He'll probably get a suspension for the rest of the season, or dropped to the EFL - but plenty of other people have done worse things and returned. The idea that someone who works in football might not have an opinion on someone they're forced to do business with is ludicrous and the video was in privacy. I know stories of a ref who had a real issue with a former Prem manager, but it was a day pre-phones and videoing yourself.

Plus Klopp is a bit of a tit towards refs and 4th officials. He had a reputation for this in Germany, which the British media tended to ignore because he was funny old Jurgen.
