More detail in this thread, including:

"The British newspaper Daily Mail, through its correspondents in Amsterdam, criticized the Israeli supporters for their provocations and held them responsible."

Well you’re fine and dandy with the Israeli government massacring innocent men, women and children so why should anyone care what you think.
I don't believe I have ever written that, Bonio, so you can stop your poisonous rant right now.

George M however is stating that he does not care that Jewish people have been hunted down and attacked on the streets of Amsterdam. He has gone on to pathetically hide behind not condoning violence at sporting events (no violence reported between Ajax and Maccabi fans, by the way - they are not deadly rivals to my knowledge).

We are talking here about folks on the streets of a major European city being beaten to a pulp on religious grounds. Hunted and beaten. Civilians. Humans. Attending a footie match. I mean come on, this hits home from the footie angle even if you despise all religions and right wing / left wing governments. Go ahead and refuse to disentangle the rawness of the Hamas terrorist situation of the last year, and lay into me. But when you are walking home after the Blackpool match tomorrow, just think how lucky we all are to get home safely and without any bruises.

Oh lordy, I see Jeremy BentHamas has now weighed in with his victim blaming commentary - may be a good idea tomorrow to not sing any anti-Northern songs for fear of getting hunted by a pack of Seasiders and duffed up on Leyton High Road. Lucky we don't play any Welsh teams in the league this year, for fear of physical attacks by the pro-sheep brigade.

I think you are getting a little carried away. Violence at or around sporting events is not unusual. Don’t know how old you are but it used to be common here. Were you in Marseille when the Russian fans hunted down the English. If you want a religious equivalent , watch Rangers v Celtic.
When you read all of the facts , sounds like an excuse for two factions to use a football match as an excuse to vent their anger. Don’t have sympathy for either group in that context

You’re right. Ajax’s ground isn’t in the city centre and the violence was against people not wearing colours in the city centre though.

He won’t. We all know what the political agenda is. All of the European leaders , without having all the facts , have been quick to condemn the violence that lead to a few bloody noses. The massacre of innocent civilians in Gaza or Lebanon wouldn’t get the same leaders off the toilet now.

And yet on 31 July 2024, on this very forum, I wrote "I don't want to be accused again of being far right on this board by some eejit who doesn't even know me, as that turns my gut as does the killing of innocent civilians on all sides of the spectrum."

Yet Bonio nor Jeremy BentHamas take issue with George M's incendiary "I do not care" about Jews being beaten up in Amsterdam after attending a football match. No they ignore that, and go after me instead. Very telling.

Not what you said, George M? Hmmm. Yet you then went on to play the incidents down with your words "All of the European leaders , without having all the facts , have been quick to condemn the violence that lead to a few bloody noses". Another classic technique to minimize what happened to Jewish civilians.

Reading reports such as below shows how organised the attacks were. Escaping Amsterdam - just think about that for a minute - escaping Amsterdam in 2024. It's unconscionable.
"Unfortunately, we understood that it’s unsafe to take local taxis or Ubers, as there have been reports of local drivers laying traps for Israelis trying to escape the chaos, essentially taking them to places where violent locals awaited and assaulted them. The fans are afraid to get into local taxis or transport, so we set up a network of about 50 volunteer drivers, Israelis from across the Netherlands, with their own vehicles, simply helping anyone who wants to reach the airport or any other place to escape the city.”

Very good. You are quick to ignore what went on the night before, around Amsterdam , and in the ground. All equally well documented. “ minimize what happened “ Is that a joke. Two groups of thugs having a set too. I think you are trying to be too clever. We can all see through Israeli deflection tactics

The fact that a sporting event with a large gathering has been used as an excuse for thuggish and racist behaviour is not new. But it was naive to think that wouldn’t be the case. Western Europe is now a multi ethnic region. The population contains hundreds of thousands of refugees, asylum seekers , illegal migrants , and citizens originating from the region where Israel is committing genocide. Why would citizens from Israel believe that Western Europe is a safe place to travel to. What right do they have to expect that to be the case. It is now a region full of anger.
It is not Western Europeans that have made it unsafe. It is the actions of , in the first instance, Hamas , and in the second instance , the Israeli government.
If I were a citizen of Israel, would I travel to Western Europe in an identifiable group. Definitely not. And if I did I wouldn’t be expecting the red carpet.

Government authorities and legacy media have been colonised by the Zionists and when they parrot Israeli government talking points, the alarm bells should ring. The good thing is, we have social media as a counterbalance and more and more people are waking up to the lies propagated by their "leaders".

Strangely, I am in agreement with a lot of what you say. But a lot of this is starting to make me feel uncomfortable. Someone saying that Israelis should be banned for everywhere (whilst refusing to actually type the word Israeli), the trope of the Jews owning/controlling the media…

We must separate anti Zionism with anti semintism (I’m convinced a load of this hate is due to Israel and supporters in the west trying to conflate the top to support Israel’s current regimes awful ideology )
