Sounds like Maccabi Tel Aviv's quota of idiot fans behaved like idiot fans, which does seem to have included at least one incident where a group were chanting anti-Arab slogans and tore down a Palestinian flag. And this resulted in organised groups of Muslim immigrants to Amsterdam hunting down and violently attacking anyone they thought may be Jewish.

There's conflicting reports circulating, so it's impossible to know what to believe right now, but some of the attacks (if true) looked to be quite serious. Obviously, this will now just play into the hands of Geert Wilders and his supporters. And the behaviour of the idiot fans will also play into the hands of the cranks.
