El Miz

Post by idontkn0 M »

What a beautiful trajectory. Climbed league after league year after year.

Starting every game for Oxford who seem to be doing alright/well.

We were lucky to have him for so long. Will have a decent championship career and possibly more if he continues improving

I wonder (just that) if we might still be in L2 without him?

Absolutely, if not lower. Our midfield was atrocious before he came in and unfortunately heading back the same way since he's left

Exactly . That's a major reason why we could be heading back down to League Two

If memory serves, RW was offered a list of midfielders and pretty much turned them all down, and stuck out for the type of player he wanted which turned out to be El Miz. Not sure what’s happened to the incomings since them, but it sure isn’t working out anything like as well in many cases.

Still a great Ling signing.
Lack of budget explains the rest of it.
