Re: Harris v. Trump
Well. Who'd have thought it?
Biden's cynical diversity hire, in reaction to the mass hysteria following the martyrdom of St George of Floyd, turned out to be as crap as everyone already knew she was when she was rejected during the last Democrat leadership election.
Even the nut jobs her appointment was intended to placate are not turning out to vote for her. Even they are unconvinced that the chance of being born as a Person Of Color With A Vagina is, in itself, a compulsive reason to be elected as president.
Hopefully, this is the final nail in the coffin of this bullsh*t type of politics. But people are thick and there will forever be opportunistic grifters seeking to exploit their stupidity.

Re: Harris v. Trump
Crackers. Really thought the only way Trump would win was if there was low turnout because Democrat voters were demotivated. To have high turnout and for millions of those extra voters show up just to get Trump back into the presidency feels very dark. Not over, but Pennsylvania will take a hell of a turnaround seeing as they've counted most votes there and he's got a decent lead.
Really is a strange country. I can't think of any other developed nation with a two party system that would look at someone so glaringly deficient in every possible way and who has tried to stage a coup, and even come close to voting them in.

Spare a thought for Zelensky. He's watching the future of his country fall apart.

The style of politics that has been the norm in the USA (and to some degree, the UK) from the 1950s throught to the early 2000s is well and truly over and not coming back.

Putin is running round Red Square jumping for joy.
Let the insanity begin.
Bye bye Ukraine, it was nice while it lasted

Re: Harris v. Trump
Oh man!
Seriously, Labour have made this even harder for themselves. Starmer clearly felt he had to have at least one black MP in a prominent position because of the reasons. But making Lammy Foreign Secretary? That, combined with sending their activists over to campaign for Harris, now look like "brave" decisions.

Re: Harris v. Trump
Hoped this wouldn’t happen, but the democrats deserved this to happen for how badly they fumbled the job after getting Trump out.
I suspect the second Trump presidency will be a lot worse than the first.
