Think the late breakers will vote Dem, Harris to win with 270 or 286 EV votes

Re: Harris v. Trump
Given the crossover in demographics we’re lucky the vogue of protesting by sitting in the road and throwing paint at things to “raise awareness” didn’t catch on until we were already basically out of the EU.
Few years later and we would have Youth Demand calling for us to cancel Brexit to solve the climate genocide that disproportionately will impact trans Palestinians.

Re: Harris v. Trump
Russia couldn't even invade Ukraine properly. They've got a piss poor undertrained army, without much military power, and not a strong backing from the russian populace. If Putin tried that I think he'll find himself in the hague pretty quickly as the russians lay down for the europeans to march in to moscow.Bandy Legs wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:54 pmTrump pulls support from Nato, Nato collapses, Putin invades Lithuania Latvia & Estonia, takes back Georgia,

$50+ Billion in support from the U.S.
Who is replacing that? Certainly not Britain Europe or anyone else in the west. Putin annexes Latvia Lithuania & Estonia he conscripts more people. Add the North Koreans & Putins re-armement policy that has been building for 2 years, might just be enough to tempt China into full on war & shift the plan for new domination from the east.
Yes it's all possibilities, but it's being talked about far more recently with the win for Trump.
We will see soon enough

Re: Harris v. Trump
Scaramucci (the guy that got fired as press secretary after 2 weeks and is now a prominent anti Trumper) has said Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and probably North Carolina have gone to Trump based on exit polling. Harris should have Michigan. Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are straight 50/50 according to those exit polls.
Nothing definitive, but was really hoping there'd be early indications that the polling had over corrected for Trump's previous underestimated support. Going to be a long night.

This stuff feels like propaganda, and to me doesn't make sense. Trump wants to be the ruler of the world, allowing Putin to take control of more countries would very much be counter to that.

Re: Harris v. Trump
I have never regarded Trump as having such ambition.
For him it is ALL ABOUT HIMSELF, his ego, his personal financial exploits and enrichment. He has no awareness of the real world and concern about the consequences of his actions. it's all about himself and desperate need for adulation, to confirm his belief of his own greatness and super influence in the world. It goes so far that he can not accept a scenario where he does not get this adulation and then he fights dirty. People (humans) are of no intrinsic value to him, they are only important as a crowd cheering for him.

It is propaganda. That doesn't mean it's not real though, unfortunately.Adz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 12:16 amI don't know much about the former eastern block countries, but are Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia just going to roll over without a fight?Bandy Legs wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:25 pmWhy has Ukraine survived?Adz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:04 pm

Re: Harris v. Trump
He definitely has an obsession with being loved. The US still has a strong anti russian slant, especially within his votership. I just don't see how rolling over to russia taking over most of eastern europe would be good for him and his ego.E10EU wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 12:44 amI have never regarded Trump as having such ambition.
