Re: Fans Forum 21 November
I’ve put my question is along the lines of please clarify the budget
Is is 12-14th in L1, as said by Marshall Taylor in a recent podcast, or is it one of the smallest in L1, as said by Richie Wellens post the Wycombe defeat.

Good question - so probably won't be asked, or delivered in a very gentle manner with the answer thoroughly rehearsed in advance.

Re: Fans Forum 21 November
Once we have clarified where we sit in the L1 Budget League table I would ask if there is a contingency fund or the prospect of new cash with a view to replacing the entire team I saw on Saturday. What a depressing day that was. I've almost lost all hope.

Do we scout in non league? And if we do, why are we missing decent players that other clubs snap up? Kone at Wycombe is an example

We must have been aware of him since he was literally on our doorstep at Atletico Newham. That being said, recent attempts to pick players up from NL have hardly worked out that well - Ethan Light? And another one who I've already forgotten and went back to St Albans/Potters Bar or somewhere?Story of O wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 11:56 am Do we scout in non league? £80k odd on Coleman, terrible recruitment (again)Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 12:40 pmWe must have been aware of him since he was literally on our doorstep at Atletico Newham. Ethan Light who never even got near the bench
For the forum Q&A, aside from the playing squad what is the next largest component of the club to run? We've got a very long list of names on the website and heard theres 200+ staff on the books.
I recall the board talking about setting up a support structure for the next level up but with budgets as tight as they are and the playing squad looking wafer thin on quality for this level are we in danger of a "cart before horse" scenario trying to act like a Championship club in every area apart from on the pitch where it counts?

Re: Fans Forum 21 November
Considering the restrictions with our budget are we set up in a way that gives us the edge in other areas I.e. analyitics, scouting, hiring policy, etc…to maintain our position or improve? Are there reviews of roles and people within those roles and whether they are right for us to take the next step, giving us an edge over our competitors?

Why is the crowd so white when we live in such an ethnically diverse area like Leyton.

Re: Fans Forum 21 November
I believe we made a very small profit on Coleman who seeems to be polaying well for the Gills. Booted out by the boo boys. Most of the staff are part time ie catering, match day operations, mascoit chaperone , stewards. In fact most of the academy staff are part time. our staff nos are actually small compared to the bigger clubsgshaw wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 1:18 pm£80k odd on Coleman, terrible recruitment (again)Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 12:40 pmWe must have been aware of him since he was literally on our doorstep at Atletico Newham. You're out of touch. The new Leytonians (and Walthamstownians) are very affluent, middle-class whites. Like us.

Coleman was a target of the boo boys? Missed that. He was just - probably unfairly chucked in over his head - and rubbish for us.

Re: Fans Forum 21 November
Even their announcements of attendance have plausible deniability now - they don’t say “the attendance is” they say “attendance is announced as…”

Yup, during a poor transfer window with too many inexperienced youth players and not enough quality... history repeating itselfProposition Joe wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 2:29 pm Coleman was a target of the boo boys? Oh oh. Gilso is going to be on your case soon. Its not his fault nobody checked the far right credentials of the guests and as he once said to me the law of averages dictates that some of them are probably a bit far rightist.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 11:47 am Will the club consider leaving the far right hellscape formerly known as X formerly known as Twitter? and the orient hour
