I never get this when people keep saying Wellens is too good for us he isn't that is why he is here, he needs to prove himself at this level, the same as the club, Wellens at Orient as that is exactly his level right now, right now it is tough and it is for him, the players, the club to pull it self outRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 10:18 amI think he’s frustrated because he’s nearly always up against clubs with better squads and more resources. He’s a good manager and he gets on with it but he deserves to be at a better clubcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 7:21 pmHe’s not a happy man, but, who can blame him.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 7:15 pm Interesting swipe at the owners in his interview from Richie…
If he’d known what was on offer I doubt he’d have signed a new contract.
I'm not blaming him for any of these but
Oldham - sacked
Swindon - Promoted, then left whilst in League One to drop a division
Salford - Sacked in League Two
Doncaster - Sacked in League One
I must be looking at a totally different managers CV, Mr Wellens is where he is due to everything that has come before
