Another reason Trump is polling so we’ll is that people are so insecure. Trump is perceived as a winner. It’s why more people now support Man City, despite the ridicule. They choose the team and then convince themselves that they like them. (You can have that on me, Mr Freud)

Surely the opposite happened when Harris was first nominated? Meaning, a massive bounce back in votes after Biden, to the relief of many democrats, dropped out.

Thanks for the link. If he’s pretending to have gone to war when he didn’t, then yeah that’s a bit embarrassing.

Trump is a literal draft dodger though, so it’s swings and roundabouts on this one

I have no idea how this is going to turn out, but I think it's fair to say it's going to be close either way, and that means the Republicans won't accept the results and will throw every spanner going into the works until the Supreme Court have to decide - and we know how that will probably end.

In that case then maybe the Democrats should have selected somebody who actually knew what they were talking about. Also her running mate ,Walz with his stolen valour. What an abysmal pair they make
In what case?

Yes, the dems are poor too, but they're not so wildly dangerous.
That's a matter of opinion which I don't share .
Would you mind elaborating? As I see it, all they care about is maintaining the status quo, which is troubling in a more general/long-term sense as it’s not sustainable.

Do you see Trump as a fit leader?

Lately he looks every bit as senile as Biden, but with the added complication of what smells a lot like narcissistic personality disorder, and he does genuinely seem to have fascist tendencies.

Can you speak to those points? I’ve not met anyone personally who admires him, so I’m genuinely curious as to why someone outside of America would be in favour

I agree with you that he stands a really good chance of winning

Elon Musk has been handing out one million dollar purses to Trump voters in swing states and they call it democracy.

So if it’s close and the Republicans win the Democrats won’t do the same thing. Gotcha 😉

Do I think Harris will be making calls to State Secretaries asking them to find 11,000 votes. No.

Before Covid hit he had the American economy flying . Lowest ever African-American unemployment lowest ever Hispanic unemployment more women in the workplace than ever and I could go on . He was the incoming tide that raised all boats . He was getting things done . Also our enemies like North Korea feared him which helped keep the peace . If some of you thought he was a nutter then so did our enemies . Don’t forget his red button works. More to the point he’s rhetoric did 😁. How many American president’s do you think would be able to stand on North Korean soil? I look forward to seeing him president again .The world will be a safer place because with the Democrats in power we’re heading to hell in a handcart . All they care about are the elites and keeping hold of power .That’s why they weaponised the judiciary against their political opponents. It’s like something Putin would do.

If the Democrats lose - and it's looking more and more likely as the deadline approaches - the only people to blame are the Democrats.

They ousted Biden too late in the day (claiming he was absolutely fine when it was clear to the rest of the world that he was not) and put forward Kamala Harris knowing that she was even more unpopular than Biden. They could have seen this coming a year ago and put a decent candidate in place.

I hope Trump wins. It's a choice between a rock and a hard place but the USA is still the most powerful country in the world and Harris is not up to the job.

Got some sources for your claims about the economy?

Why are we heading to hell in a handcart?

Trump tried to overthrow and election and various other things. He should try not breaking the law if he doesn't want to face the consequences.

Guess they’re going with the Trump is Hitler line even when he’s selling out the biggest venues in the states that historically oppose Republicans most
