I accepted the offer.

As someone said on this thread: you only live once.

Can you have a word with LSN - he's lacking a bit in the decisiveness stakes.

Congrats and good luck. And like I say. If it’s sh*t find something else or go back!

I’ve done my first week and loved it. Felt weird being somewhere where people make quick decisions, are interested in my informed opinions and are willing so spend some money to get stuff done. Genuinely alien.

How did they respond when you told them you needed two hours of the working day for Boardin" on a Div 3 message board?

It was already listed under “hobbies & interests” on my CV so they were aware.

Small update on this: company I’m leaving (currently working notice) just announced that they will be making wide scale redundancies over the next month of which I certainly would have been at risk if I wasn’t already out the door.

Funny how life works out sometimes.

Good for you! Although wouldn’t you have been due a payout?

Probably but the stress of not having something else lined up would have been pretty intense.

I feel bad for those who will be impacted by this. Poor decisions at the top led to the situation but it’s those lower down who suffer.

I have had a feeling that something was up for quite a while (hence why I even entertained the idea of going elsewhere in the first place) but didn’t see this sheer scale of what will happen coming.

For someone operating under the cloak of Christianity your comment is dangerously heretical.
Hope you blow some brown smoke out of your arse to confirm your apointment
