Evans teams are never easy play against, quick, direct and very physical, but we stood up to their approach well and thankfully actually got a goal.
We need to do better in the final third but this win should lift the confidence.
Josh Keeley also did well in goal .
Yup, 100% 👍

Just back. Glad I took another blood pressure pill before going. We don't do things the easy way. But a win, is a win, is a win.

However, still a lot of work to do to keep out of the relegation scrap.

What I don't understand is why the players don't seem to know what to do at times and are looking to or being instructed what to do by RW. Surely in training they train for certain scenarios in the match, or have I got wrong what training is all about.

And we still need to do work on what players should do in and around the opposition penalty area. I'm fed up seeing us get to the edge of the opposition penalty area, then 10 seconds later the ball is back with Beckles/Happe who are 10 yards outside of our penalty area.

Grew into it in the second half and just about deserved the win. Usual Rotherham and F.Evans tactics.

The win only papers over the cracks of a poor side.

Positive is the keeper. Far more reassuring watching him between the sticks. Also, OON who wasn’t scared to have a shot.
I said Keeley is quality. Hope he doesn't have to many call ups the remainder of the season
Ireland U21 campaign is over, no more callups for JK (this season)

I agree . We've got to get our strikers scoring again but like Richie said , we've really missed Jordan Graham and Theo Archibald . Because they have both been out injured for so long , when they are both fully fit again it will feel like having two new signings .

I'm glad Pratley started, his effort (which is a lot more than some players just over half his age) and experience is needed. I'd start him every game, there are plenty on the bench to bring on when he says he's knackered, even if that is at half-time.

Deservedly given MOTM from the match sponsors.

I agree that the ref was crap (what's new?) but he didn't favour either side, was just generally incompetent with some baffling decisions. O's merited the win on second half performance against a stuffy side who offered little, although they created 2 decent chances in second half but thankfully fell to a guy who can't head the ball properly

Steve Evans interview an interesting watch. I agree with him that the big moments cost them - they had two headed chances they spurned; we had two, Pratley’s, and thankfully Happe buried his.

Probably the rub of the green didn’t favour the Millers, losing McCart in the warm up, another injury in the centre of the defence during the game, the poor marking from the free kick was decisive post that. But about time we had the rub of the green. Not the best of games quality wise, but a very needed three points. And while he didn't have a lot to do, I felt Keeley looked assured between the sticks, which was encouraging.

Evan’s interview was diabolical. A man who fears his time is up.

Surely losing McCarthorse in the warm up helped them out?

Highlights of this video include:

1. Evans moaning about a non existent penalty 10 seconds into the interview

2. Evans taking credit for when Stevenage beat his own club (the one he abandoned Stevenage for) on Saturday

3. Losing his head at a reasonable question and the video quite obviously being cut/edited a number of times from that point on

4. Claiming that Jamie McCart is a “massive player”

I genuinely can't even recall what the penalty shout was. Don't think a single Rotherham player was calling for one.

20 years of playing Evans teams now and he remains a graceless, perma wronged, whiny knob. Rotherham were abysmal last night, couldn't be happier that his reunion with them is turning sour already.

Yeah, can't for the life of me think what incident he's talking about, just making stuff up for the sake of it.

Matt on commentary reckoned Beckles had his arm around the waist of some Rotherham player. Would have been the softest penalty in history if given

I have seen us up against Rotherham many many times over the years and I have always considered them to be a bit of a bogey team. Yesterday was the worst I can remember them. I think we just about deserved our 3 points but yet again we had a non striker to rely on to find the net. Our forward play has no conviction and is still a big concern.

Think it’s fair to say that they are difficult to play against with their ‘hoof ball style’ , a bit like the old Wimbledon team.
Our lads grew into the game last night but Rotherham will upset some teams playing that way.

I agree . Maybe Richie has already done this but our players should be told to just shoot when given half a chance. At times it feels like our players are trying to walk the ball in to the net . Just take a bloody shot. If they miss , they miss but there is always a chance of a ricochet or a deflection. I’m thinking about Kelman who for some reason has become a bit hesitant recently . Just shot !!!!

I think this is the audio full version of Fatty Evans interview last night which includes the bits edited out. He certainly abuses the interviewer and is rattling on about their goalkeeper's 2nd save which was decent, according to Evans, Donald Duck could have saved it.

The thing that caught my eye last night night was the look of thunder and the torrent of abuse Evans gave the referee as he came of the field. I know the jury is out on whether the ref had a good game last night but he certainly was not biased in view of the free kick he gave Rotherham in added on, added on time.

As for Evans, I would be utterly ashamed to have him in charge of my club due to the way he conducts himself and the football he dishes up. UTO's

I wasn’t at the game last night so can’t comment on last night’s game . However I watched the Peterborough V Rotherham game a couple of weeks ago on TV and thought Rotherham looked quite good . Don’t get me wrong, I’m delighted Rotherham were crap last night . I hope Wycombe are the same and have an off day Saturday.
