Re: More of the same on Tuesday?
Have to confess I haven’t been to Brisbane Road since the final match pre COVID break (v Cambridge). At 100 miles away I’m never going to be a regular, I work full time – four days a week from home, one in office – and have plenty else to do. I caught so many of our games on TV the season post COVID break, and a fair few since, so have contributed my streaming tenners regularly to the club.
I prefer the old Orient TV and Dulcet Dave to the new arrangement, but will stream the game on Tuesday as have signed up on Now TV. The cost is significantly less for me than getting down for the game, fuel cost plus food and drink beforehand, not to mention the time savings. I think the new TV deal is never going to encourage those of us who don’t live close. But for the record I have tix for the Mansfield game next month and am looking forward to being back. Am coming down with a mate and we’ll enjoy a couple of pubs and food beforehand, and there’s nothing quite like being in the ground and its atmosphere - but hope the team will be really giving it a go by then!

Re: More of the same on Tuesday?
It would certainly be nice to get one over our old ‘friends’ Evans and Raynor.

Totally agree.George M wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:13 pmWe go to be entertained. It’s boring. I want to see 100% effort. Nobody complained when we lost earlier in the season because we saw effort and entertainment. I already know Tuesday’s result. We can’t score and we haven’t won at home. 0-0 is the best we can hope for.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 5:59 pmBecause you’re a fan that supports the team through thick and thin?

Yea though even more reason to see a win coming, football can be really weird like thatThe Reverend wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 7:17 pmDoesn’t Wellens have a pretty poor record against Fatty Evans?

Good luck with your eye surgery whenever it takes place.
Moorfields are amazing and have great aftercare.

We beat Stevenage last year at their place playing hoofball. I don’t think he had left by then?gshaw wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 8:06 pmYea though even more reason to see a win coming, football can be really weird like thatThe Reverend wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 7:17 pmDoesn’t Wellens have a pretty poor record against Fatty Evans?

Also yes, I believe that was RW's first win against Evans by playing him at his own gameDrWindy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 11:44 pmWe beat Stevenage last year at their place playing hoofball. Re: More of the same on Tuesday?
I have watched Rotherham twice on tele and convinced that Evans will get his team to bully us like he did at Stevenage. With the players they have and money spent they are in a false position. We won’t be given time and space to play tappy tappy football across the park.i cannot see us scoring against them . If they score first it will be game over.George M wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:13 pmWe go to be entertained. It’s boring. I want to see 100% effort. Sorry to break the news but Mansfield (h) is international weekend and another postponement beckons.EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 12:10 pm Have to confess I haven’t been to Brisbane Road since the final match pre COVID break (v Cambridge). Re: More of the same on Tuesday?
I have to agree with you . In my opinion this game has got 2- 0 to Rotherham written all over it. I think we’re in big trouble this seasonmoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 8:23 amI have watched Rotherham twice on tele and convinced that Evans will get his team to bully us like he did at Stevenage. Re: More of the same on Tuesday?
Throw insults if you wish (I care not), but for me, this is the time the club, and more pertinently the team, needs our support
If everyone chucked their toys every time we lose a few matches the ground would be empty, and there wouldn't be a club to support.
I will be there and doing my best to support the team from the TJS...

McCart didn't play, no Clarke-Harris upfront was a bonus too, glad we made the most of the opportunityRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 11:00 pmMaybe that's why we won . I was never impressed with him at Orient . Anyway good prediction gshaw.
