Re: Agyei
Kerman is not the answer and just look at the formation it's not working as we ha e to many forwards drop kerman and play agyei upfront play a midfielder in kerman place

Re: Agyei
RW is stubborn as they come and still thinks Kelman is best no.9
Dan Agyei has to play no.9, but if he does who plays on the right?
All comes down to poor recruiting again

Nah. From the reverse angle, you can see how acute the angle was and how their defenders had got back to cover.
His ‘challenge’ for their goal was of more of a concern.

Did you see Sean Clares acuter angle goal v Stockport?Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 12:50 pm Nah. From the reverse angle, you can see how acute the angle was and how their defenders had got back to cover.

Clares a full back/midfielder n'all.
Point being Agyei is heralded as the saviour by playing him through the middle & misses 2 chances of a goal
After being right in the middle
Re: Agyei
Looks like Agyei should have shot for goal before he rounded the keeper. When O's have scored first, and in the first half they've gone on to win. I wonder how things would have turned out if Agyei had scored?

Well tough because it isn't happening. Ling does the player contracts. That's one job out of many he has and you have no idea how good he is in doing those. Nigel is happy with him so must be doing a good job.

Academy produces nothing of value to the first team
Two transfer windows of poor signings
What exactly does the DoF do is a very good question, hopefully an area that will see a lot of change when new owners come in

Re: Agyei
What do you mean the academy doesn’t produce anything? Our star striker went out on loan to Step 4 Grays Athletic and came on for 15 minutes yesterday.

The quality and quantity of player he’s securing with a top 10 budget or whatever indicates the standard of job he’s doing.Loyal_Supporter wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:15 pmWell tough because it isn't happening. All of those were from the Andy Edwards group (also Koroma) before NT arrived. It's done nothing since.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 2:07 pmAcademy produced Happe Ruel Hector last few yearsgshaw wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:31 pmWomen's team spun out to McCaffrey familyLoyal_Supporter wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:15 pm

Re: Agyei
Under Ling, we’ve produced Sweeney, Ogie and Obeiro. I can’t think of any others. And Ogie and Obeiro were both picked up pretty late, were they not?
That’s some return.

Donley said he knew Obiero from Spurs so yeah we must've got him from them at some pointHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 3:20 pm Under Ling, we’ve produced Sweeney, Ogie and Obeiro. I can’t think of any others. And Ogie and Obeiro were both picked up pretty late, were they not?

Think Obeiro was maybe 14/15. Shad was something like 16/17.gshaw wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 3:23 pmDonley said he knew Obiero from Spurs so yeah we must've got him from them at some pointHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 3:20 pm Under Ling, we’ve produced Sweeney, Ogie and Obeiro. You do have to question what the point of it is post Edwards.
