As bad as Pigott is I'd have to agree with you . Perkins is nothing but a pure waste of money .

Another defeat to another crap team...We are in a bad, bad position and TBH I can't see the current coaching team turning it around. They look to be be pretty clueless. How has it come to this?

Alabi Drinan Smith & Pigott & all their worst bits rolled into one would be better than Perkins.
That maybe so, but he’s are only reserve forward. If he’s no good then get rid of him. We need an attacking option off the bench.
I didn't want him here in the first place

Galbraith was our one bright spark.

Good point . Maybe the spotlight should be shone on the coaching staff.

That sounded pretty bad.
We can't score goals, we miss chances & is it right that not 1 shot on target in the second half?
Plus we will concede at some stage.
As people say, possession is pointless, literally.
It's very early days admittedly but have no doubt we look like we're in real trouble.
Only a good transfer window might save us.
I hope that Richie doesn't try to justify how we played today. Both he & the players need to take a good long hard look in the mirror

Donkey was awful.
To make it worse, he replaced Galbraith who was thrown out to right back.
Doesn’t look like young Jamie has the balls for the fight we’re now in.

I just don’t get it. If he’s useless (literally haven’t seen anything from him aside from about ten mins to suggest he isn’t ) then Obeiro should be getting all his minutes. Or play him in a different position. He played LB for spurs in pre season and a lot of time up front in their yoof set up. Throw him up front cos kelman ain’t at it

Perkins, and Donley are nowhere near League 1 standard but they still manage to get into the squad ahead of Jaiyesimi so what on earth does that say about him? Kelman might be half-decent as an impact sub off the bench but not as our main striker. And O'Neil seems to have regressed massively since he first joined us.

Only gets paid that if he is unemployed, if they do a deal to pay him upfront & get him out maybe, Which won't happen under Travis.

Even Dulcet Dave has described it as a dreadful second half performance. So please RW don't say "We were the better team" again... it's just getting embarrassing now.

Absolute shocker
No excuses, decent break and almost a full squad to choose from
Midfield bereft of ideas, players who struggle to put a decent pass together, nothing on the bench to turn things around.

Every game without him, I realise how much Idris carried this team, until we find a replacement who can pick the ball up from back four and drive forward and spray passes out wide and get attacks going we will continue to struggle to create and score goals.
We have no one who can drive this team forward.
We have no wide players who can trouble defenders and get crosses in
We have no No.9 who will score goals to win games

We just have very below average players who just don’t know what to do with the ball when they have it, absolutely clueless, so just end up passing sideways and backwards without threatening oppositions goal.

If this does not change and investment is not made into new players in Jan, might as well order your L2 season ticket now!

Like majority of O’s fans tonight, I am soooo disappointed and my usual positivity has been sucked out of me with this performance

The club wouldn't compete in the transfer market during the Summer and now we can't compete on the pitch . League 2 here we come .

I agree . Maybe we should have broken the bank and just paid Ipswich what they wanted for him . We knew how good he was so would have been a sound investment . I wonder now how much relegation will cost the club instead

I can close my eyes and I can see Idris collecting the ball from beckles/happe the driving forward, spraying balls out to Theo & O’Neil, who then run at defenders, crossed balls into box and boom 💥 Orient created and scored goals.
Idris was the heartbeat of this Orient team for last 2 seasons and shows how important he was to this team.

It will save them money. Less wages to pay. We haven't signed a player for money since the Italian was here other than for the non league bloke who we sold for the same price.
