Enough to find someone who can make more money for our budget, Disney Netflix, anyone similar.Story of O wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:02 pm How much do you expect him to spend out of his own pocket?
Wrexham Budget doesn't come just from Reynolds & the other one

£7-10 million according to this.
Nigel makes an unbought show with other clubs instead of selling up to one of the streaming mobs.
It's not Rocket Science, the Yanks are primed for a Wrexscam opponent.

Yes, that's fair enough and why we need some new investment . Obviously that's easier said than done.Story of O wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:02 pm How much do you expect him to spend out of his own pocket?

Re: Nigel
Totally agree, its been obvious by our lack of players bought and poor loans that he was never going to be able to take the club any further. That being the case he should have been looking for massive new investors as soon as we got promoted back into League 1.Bandy Legs wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:19 pmEnough to find someone who can make more money for our budget, Disney Netflix, anyone similar.Story of O wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:02 pm How much do you expect him to spend out of his own pocket?

The home crowds will drop very soon and it will make it even harder to get the investment needed.Nigels failure to go for massive new investment in my opinion was when we were riding high after promotion.

Meanwhile wrexscam have gone from near relegation to NL North to 2nd in League 1 in 2 & a 1/2 seasons

The more I think about Netflix owning us the more
I see a Spin off show to Loving Leyton Orient .
The War years a proper mini series about McFadden Jonas & Scott being made & adored by millions of Americans & the World.
Come on Nigel get them involved.

Re: Nigel
When the board took over they put money in that they could afford with Nigel and Kent the main players. They are not mega rich. True they were head of major companies but did not own them. I don’t think the likes of Mat Porter and Marshall Taylor contribute d that much. The aim was primarily getting us back into the League which they did . Although they achieved this they were still losing money every year. They then set a target of L1 This was achieved which was Nigel’s ultimate aim .Although the budget this year was set 10% more this year it was no where near the budget of most clubs. We offered 2 year contracts on players not established L1 . The rest of the budget was spent on loans that were not obvious first choices. A goalkeeper and striker were the most essential players and we did not achieve either. Championship is a pipe dream that will not be achieved even with RW at the helm.He may keep uu up this year but is only with us due to his loyalty to the board. He has aspirations to manage above our club that is all to see. Forget spending money trying to find a new ground until the board have major financial backing. We cannot continue losing 3-4 million every year.

Re: Nigel
Christ there are some ungrateful idiots on this board. NT saved the club and has done us very well. So he hasn’t got the wealth to take us to next step. This coming from people who moan about the cost of everything. Give me strength.

Re: Nigel
Nigel has done great to put us where we are. He knows he can't take us further on his own as he has stated since the beginning, It's time for new Money, hoping to find a Rich Sugar Daddy is difficult.
Knowing the world is loving Welcome to Wrexscam, it makes sense to explore investment from a global corporation like Netflix Disney N.E. Other broadcasting platform with massive reach.
Giving you strength for what exactly?
Burying your head in the sand to drop back into League 2 & then be 1 bad season away from the National League again?
NT has said repeatedly his main objective is for LOFC to be here in 100 years time, sell up to a global corporation & maybe we get that chance.
Its time to think outside the box.

I would suggest a few people on this board need to give the guy a bit more respect. That’s all I am saying. He has done brilliantly for this club.
