For purely selfish reasons I'm hoping we pull out 44 away
Had to look at Google Maps to see where some of these places are. Wouldn't mind a visit to Rushall/Peterborough Sports or Chesham.

Re: In The Hat.....
Two easy non league sides at home in rounds 1 and 2 so we have the best chance to get to round 3 . Round 3 somebody like Arsenal , Spurs or West Ham away would be brilliant .Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 11:36 am Pretty boring selection of NL teams in there. Going to end up with a crap draw.

Will also probably be a sh*t Sunday afternoon kick off due to the lame international streaming thing that the BBC do.

I refuse to believe that anyone who actually went to either of the two miserable afternoons we’ve previously had there would consider this draw anything but sh*tCurrywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 7:23 pm Local

Re: In The Hat.....
A real banana skin draw if our players turn up with the same attitude they had against Shrewsbury

Re: In The Hat.....
With The Rev, having had to go there so recently, it’s a sh*t draw. And they were always the sort of direct, roughhouses that are liable to turn us over. The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:07 pmI refuse to believe that anyone who actually went to either of the two miserable afternoons we’ve previously had there would consider this draw anything but sh*tCurrywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 7:23 pm Local

Very unappealing. I just hope we get through it.

Re: In The Hat.....
It's a good draw in as much that it should see us through to round two. If we allow ourselves to slip up on this potential banana skin then we don't deserve to advance any further. No excuses.

Re: In The Hat.....
Why do people use the expression "in the hat"? Presumably, the hat was used as a repository for the teams' numbers at some point. Too much like Harry Potter for me.

Re: In The Hat.....
Indeed . I was at that game and it was a painful watch . Obviously we must treat Borehamwood with due respect but it's a game we should win . Just get to the third round and hopefully pull a big Premiership London club . Preferably away so we can maximise how much money we can make .
