If possession won games we'd be out of sight already. Lincoln sound very poor but we've got to score.

Would like to see a bit more from Simpson. He’s not doing enough for me. Number of times he’s got the ball at his feet with options and plays the ball to Beckles.

Usual recurring theme, unable to stick the ball in the net yet again. I really don’t know what’s happened to Dan A he can’t even stand up on occasions. Still Kelman looks dangerous

Like we said on other threads, we need a new striker .Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:53 pm Usual recurring theme, unable to stick the ball in the net yet again. I really don’t know what’s happened to Dan A he can’t even stand up on occasions. Still Kelman looks dangerous

Re: Exiles thread - Lincoln C (A)
Kelman is getting so many chances, he works hard but is just not a natural striker is he. People used to moan so much about Ruel but at least given a chance he can score goals. It will be the same old story if we dont watch out, get all the possession, cant score and the other team nick a goal.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:53 pm Usual recurring theme, unable to stick the ball in the net yet again. Ffs. This was always how Lincoln were gonna score.
If the response to that is the same as Tuesday, this game is done.

Re: Exiles thread - Lincoln C (A)
We haven't got a decent goal scorer so it's already game over . It's clear we're going to be fighting against relegation this season . There is no point having all that possession if there is no end product .

Relegation written all over them at the moment, Wellens can’t keep defending this. We have got nothing up front and the whole management must take the blame. Be lucky if we don’t get Simpson sent off.

Re: Exiles thread - Lincoln C (A)
Lincoln have stepped up their game massively. Bullying us physically and pressing us much higher, forcing us to go long, which we can't do anything with.
Kelman's lack of cutting edge was really shown just now. Through on goal, hesitated, slowed everything down and plays it backwards. We then lose possession and Lincoln should have scored.

Exactly. That 30 secs summed us up.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:14 pm Lincoln have stepped up their game massively. Bullying us physically and pressing us much higher, forcing us to go long, which we can't do anything with.

Re: Exiles thread - Lincoln C (A)
Wellens chose the players we signed, he rates Kelman so highly, he chooses the team and the positions they play in and the formation they play in. The buck stops with him.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:12 pm Relegation written all over them at the moment, Wellens can’t keep defending this.
