Richie's comments were clear to me that he made the changes more to give players minutes rather than to try and at least draw the game.

It was becoming evident that we were unlikely to score and maybe he decided to concede defeat (as not like we have any game changers on the bench).

Is he a bad coach of course he’s not but he’s becoming a little stale imo. We have no central striker of quality and he has to shoulder the blame and look at other options. He’s not giving Dan A a run in one position and sticking with Kelman each game which is a bad mistake. We haven’t got many or if any options up front so play a formation that plays two. Now all the clappers will say “MB want 442” not necessarily but if that what it takes to put the bloody ball in the net then the end justifies the means. Personally as bad as they playing I would have put Kelman on the right and kept Dan A up front simply because we have nobody else that’s capable at this level.

Ridiculous to have a choice of only two central strikers and you cannot include Perkins as another option.
No target man striker in the squad, one winger who comes on 15 to 20 minutes from the end, still recovering from his injury and for whatever reasons
O Neil not cutting the mustard this season, Richie not getting a tune out of his choice of forwards plus Diallang Jaiyesimi seems so far to be a wasted signing.

He’s unfit, doesn’t fit in and isn’t the player Wellens used to manage(we were warned) Perkins is another one imo both were cheap bench warmers, but what’s the point in that if they come on and neither has an impact. As pointed out by many on here the recruitment this year has been diabolical and this time I don’t think Ling is to blame.

He has looked alright with the ball but he looks lazy which won’t go down well with Richie. A few times passes have been near him and he’s not bothered trying to reach them.
