Sounds like an interesting hobby. Are there any clubs or groups that meet to discuss such thoughts?

Visiting coffee shops. Tried almost all of them in a 8 mile radius in the last year in my spot in the new forest. Turns out the best ones are always in cycle shops.

Used to be a great coffee place off Cheapside in a cycle shop that got lost with the pandemic, but the Woods Cyclery in Lyndhurst is fantastic. Pastries to die for - no wonder I've put on 2 stone in that time.

I’m also into this. The only thing I’m snobby about is coffee. Best one near my office near monument is Elmore jam. Genuinely would love any Essex or London recs

Narrative next to Blackhorse Road station is my current favourite. Oat lattes and flat whites are on point and they give kiddo free warm milk (refuse to call it a babycino because I might be a c*nt, but I'm not that much of a c*nt). Actually blessed with good coffee options round here with Hermanos, Jaunty, Armstrong Audio and Blackhorse Workshop all within a mile radius.

I collect Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks from the 1980s, and I have all the originals and the more recent ones they’ve released specifically to cater for the middle aged geek.
Some of them are actually great fun to play on a rainy afternoon.

Well, I like to get hold of big cardboard boxes and make them into err... buses. Yes big red buses, I rather like that.

Not entirely un-Orient related but I have a spreadsheet detailing every football match I've attended, going back to 1990 and still update it after each game.

I'm currently about ten per cent through a listen along/read a long of the complete works of The Fall with my mate Arnie, based on the book You Must Get Them All.
It's done via Spotify and Whatts app in the spirit of Tim's Listening Party.
We do get sidetracked so it will take the rest of our lives.
We have a chart showing our progress.

In a similar vein, my daughter and I are working through Jamie Olivers cook books, and put a red marker on each page and photograph them.
NAKED CHEF, 15 MINUTE MEALS, 30 MINUTE MEALS
Completed it mate.
