Great interview. I reckon Keeley will be in goal against Wrexham. Hemming isn’t as bad as he showed first 4/5 games but he’s not great either. A better keeper would have stopped that attack that led to the pen and possibly would have even done better with the first (although harsh to blame the keeper for that).

First time he’s publicly criticised Hemming. I agree, that could well be the reason given to stick Kelley in goal on Saturday.

Hemming has played well recently so I have no doubt he will be in goal Saturday .

He's done alright but Richie knows he's always got a mistake in him, even small ones. And as he said in the interview, small mistakes are costing us atm. I reckon Keeley has a shot on Saturday but if not it will amaze me if Hemming is first choice still in November.

I'm not gonna lie. This goalkeep dilemma has me worried.

On the one hand people are praising RW for his keen eye for spotting a player and on the other he can't spot a decent keeper for toffee. Worrying.

It also bodes the question of a larger stadium when clearly the locals don't support the club. On a personal note, I very rarely make a game nowadays living 110 miles away and going on my own no other O's supporters in the house.A bus ride ,two mainline trains, two tube trains is a chore, especially on your own and at my age. An excuse , of course it is, but what about the locals filling the attendance void

I would have thought that whilst Travis is trying to drum up interest in investing in a new ground, it'd have been helpful to bigger crowds rather than hiking prices to levels that are going to put off more casual punters. The last few seasons have shown that the interest is there, at the right price and when the team is in form.

Would have gone had the game stuck to its original date. Club obviously decided having a full squad was more important than a fuller ground, which is the right decision on a sporting level but will have lost us a fair few fans.

6.5k being a disappointment is a sign of how much healthier our gates are these days. Well above what we've averaged for almost the entire time I've been going.

Never in a million years was that a 6.5k crowd. The real number almost certainly began with a 4. Don't forget they have changed the way they calculate this figure, from "the number of people actually in the ground" to "number of tickets sold for the fixture".

What was the real attendance last night? It felt pretty sparse but I thought the atmosphere was pretty decent for most of the game.

Lots of excuses being reeled out by our 'fans' for not bothering to go last night but it's their loss, was a great game overall.

To me, it looked like about 5,200. Our section of the East was quite empty, and certainly the South end of the West too. Gaps in the North as well.

Was a good, entertaining, game and was imperative not to lose.

Re Tuesday night games the Sky deal will have only a marginal affect. The opportunity to watch the match on the club’s stream was previously and is still there. But yes the Sky deal is poo and having international' players will come at a huge cost to our attendances (especially this season when we have 2 home games out of the 3 international dates).

£30 is just too much for a midweek game, I think it is even more on the day, give it a month or two too and it will be lower than yesterdays attendance as it will be blisteringly cold

Motherwell, a similar sized club but ultimately more successful than Little Leyton Orient, charged 20 bucks for the LC Quarter final tie last Friday night.

In the two weeks prior Well Society members went round the doors, put up posters in shops, plastered it all over social media asking people in the community to come out and engage with the club.

They responded well and the crowd was 8,300. Probably 2.5k more than we would normally get and around 40k or so more income.

The atmosphere was cracking and once again Runners Up Utd of Dundee were pumped and dumped out of the cup.

Orient should try something similar for a midweek floodlight game where attendances are traditionally low.

Yes youse do have the interspazz etc but do youse know how to use it. I sensed in the weeks leading up to the match that it created an unusual amount of traffic and a lot of exposure as people retweeted, liked etc. But of course you guys have the Orient Hour as a secret weapon.

I'll be very surprised if Keeley is in goal when Hemming is the more experienced of the two.

Having watched the goals, doubt even a top goalie would have done much different as whilst their bloke takes a heavy touch, it wasn't enough for the ball to get away from him.

The only reason it didn’t get away from him was because Hemming was slow to get out to it. Someone with better instincts would have gotten there ahead of their player

My comment was that he wouldn’t have needed to give away the pen if he’d been quicker off his line. If he hadn’t dithered he would have claimed the ball. Showed his lack of experience and confidence. Indecision is the worst character trait in a keeper.

Not only that but like I said before, you shake hands with the devil (sky) you can’t expect anything else . All these clubs voted for it now there complaining that the grounds are less full. What do they expect on a work night. Getting home really late or sitting in front of the tv feet up cup of tea or a beer

I don’t disagree that the sky deal is poo poo for fans but this was rearranged for international call ups. I wonder if the club going forward considers the financial impact of a Saturday game (where this would have been near enough a sell out) vs losing a few players.

I don’t think there was more than a few hundred people who stayed in because they could watch on tv (could you watch on sky last night?)
