Sunny P or Sunny D ?
Sonny Perkinsl player, out of his depth. I was warned by a Leeds mate how bad he is, but Leeds fans can be a bit miserable , so i took no notice !!! But I owe him a pint, for being spot on. He said he was lightweight, had a bad first touch, and can't be classed as a striker , and will never be one. Os seem so none threatening up front at the moment. Scary .... I thought he had played 60 plus games, but only played 5 first team games , wow!

Of course there is,Perkins doesn’t want to get his socks dirty,DJ is so fat and unfit he can’t get them on and Sweeney can only manage one for his left foot because he has no right foot, can’t pass forward or cross a decent ball.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 9:49 amNo comparison between the 3.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 9:45 amSaid this all along with DJ and Sweeney they have to go.Eggski wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 1:45 am Sonny Perkinsl player, out of his depth. Re: Sunny P or Sunny D ?
Maybe try playing 2 down the middle forwards instead then we might see an improvement in Perkins.
Nearly every Forward has struggled in recent seasons playing on their own and hardly getting involved in the game.

Re: Sunny P or Sunny D ?
Can’t see Perkins getting in the match day squad, assuming we have both loan goalkeepers in the squad, perm 3 out of Kelman, Currie, Donley & Perkins.
Leaves us very light upfront, even allowing for Perkins ‘lightweight edness’
Imv need another couple of forwards who can press in the style RW likes. Can’t expect Kelman to keep his work rate up for 90 mins every match.

Re: Sunny P or Sunny D ?
Perkins is not ready for L1 football, needs a loan spell in NL
He has had enough chances and it is clear to see.
DJ is not L1 standard, will never give you 100% for 90mins, for 2 reasons, 1) he would never last 90mins & 2) he can’t be bothered
Sweeney, is a No, L2 player at best, he is not good enough

Presumably RW think he can get something out of him, still only 26. He shows some skillfull touches but doesn’t seeem to have the work rate of a RW player.

What has DJ done wrong?
A different position may suit Perkins, I dont think he's a centre forward.

Re: Sunny P or Sunny D ?
Perkins reminds me a bit of Pigott……..some nice touch’s but needs a big ‘lump’ ahead of him to hold the ball up and lay it off to him………he’s not ready for L1 and looked out of his depth last night.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 6:18 pm What has DJ done wrong?
