That’s fair enough but even so we should still have a couple of points on the board by nowRich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 1:47 pmWho said we are aiming for a top 3 finish.
Again, this anger is all because there is a massive disconnect between fans expectations this season and the club. The budget reflects that
So who did we actually replace El Miz with?

Read what I said again, top 3 of the bottom 8 is just above the relegation spots. The club senior management often talk about the league being split into chunks of 8 teams and right now we look set for a battle in the lower end of that

10% higher yes but we don’t know how much of el Miz wages we were paying for example.if it was nothing or next to nothing 10% more budget ain’t gonna bring in an equal quality playerHoover Attack wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 2:21 pmThe budget is 10% higher than last year. And that was whilst carrying full salaries for Moncur, Piggot and Edwards/Adu-Adjei rather than a proper footballer.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 1:47 pmWho said we are aiming for a top 3 finish.

Sorry I misread. Honestly, I think the board will consider this season a success if we finish 16thgshaw wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:05 pmRead what I said again, top 3 of the bottom 8 is just above the relegation spots. Re: So who did we actually replace El Miz with?
2 of our most influential and important players last season have not been replaced.
El Miz - not replaced and is the reason why we are not driving forward with the ball in midfield and supplying the wide players, he is a massive miss and we have really missed him, irreplaceable with our budget in L1!!
Shaq Forde - we do not have a wide outlet on the right who can cut in and score goals, he had a great relationship with Dan Agyei when they played together, again another big miss.

We don’t have wide players this season.
I like Shaq but come on, he was hardly one of our most influential players last season.
