Its no coincidence that one of our directors/investors gave a load of his money away to another club and now Orientaren’t spending much of theirs whilst prices go up across the board for fans

They will have a problem justifying putting their prices up again in League Two .

It'll be rather ugly on the socials tonight that's for sure, this was a must-win even early on in the season

Agree, morale 'feels' like at a very low ebb.

Something fundamental has changed at this club since last season don't know what but it doesn't bode well.

Nope, that's way higher than his other marks!

Are you seriously laying blame at his feet today? If so then shame on you.

I didn't really expect anything from Bolton , Charlton or Birmingham but to be honest tonight I feel a bit choked . I thought Shrewsbury were as bad as us but we're worse .

Don''t be so daft . Ok, maybe choked was the wrong word . Maybe should have said gutted instead . Either way I feel as flat as a witches tit tonight .

I seem to recall we had only I point after 4 games last season. Didn't turn out too badly in the end.

Nothing like a good ol' August panic to get the season off to a typical start.

Difference this season being we have a weaker squad overall, the league is much tougher and there's no sides starting on minus points

The problem is a very bad start can dictate the rest of our season . Reading , Stockport and Wrexham are all up next in the league . I can't see us getting anything out of any of them . This is where going cheap during the Summer can work out being very expensive in the end. This spill about exciting new players coming in to boost ST sells isn't going to work next season in League Two .

Some might perceive the owners as being a bit dishonest this pre-season. Promises about “exciting” signings that never materialised which happened to be transmitted around the time season ticket holders were being forced to renew against an unreasonably short deadline & ticket prices going up overall.

It's a trick they can only pull once because next season people won't swallow it, especially if we find ourselves back in League Two .

Sad when put into this context.

Although I was generally upbeat about signings and activity until Hemmings went just dreadful.
