We played well against 2 of the best teams in the league. Some context is needed.

Stockport and Wrexham up next . I can easily see us losing both games . Zilch points after six games and a long way back . This bad start is guaranteeing a relegation battle this season . Well, not a battle exactly because we won't be putting up a fight . We're sh*t . I'm so fcuking angry this evening . I knew we had a difficult start but I didn't think we'd lose all four of our first games . We're fcuking diabolical

No it doesn’t. This team is better than the results suggest.

This team has only scored two goals in x4 matches. Forget about the defensive errors. We know recruitment has been poor - no wow signings at all. Board have been complacent - because we have Wellens - and of course he is settled here with a long contract so perhaps less hungry. Put it all togther in a much stronger L1 (and without the momentum from winning L2) - and what you get is a relegation struggle. As things stand I am really concerned - and my guess is that most fans are!

That’s no excuse for losing massively to a team at the bottom of the league, in fact it is the reverse.

Let's not get into the 'we're too good to go down', I remember when we were last relegated from league 1 and recall people saying the exact same thing.

The crux is we are not creating enough clear cut chances to score, let alone win games and just play nice tippy tappy football like we used to under Embleton.

The thing is though some supporters on here have been saying the same thing for a few weeks now . If the supporters could see the writing on the wall , why couldn't the club ?

OK, but I only care about the league . Can't see us getting any change out of Reading .

Last season there was at least the buffer of a few times on minus points but we're now the ones with -12 to catch up.

Disturbing thing is this is the strongest the squad gets in terms of midfield until January. Just imagine once a few injuries and suspensions kick in

Can't remember the year, but waited ages for our first win.
It came in an evening match against Preston

Our next 3 games in the league are against Reading, Stockport and Wrexham . Let's just say I'm not too hopeful .
