Neither can I really so maybe Hemming is going back to Middlesbrough . Anyway I thought Richie wanted a winger and a central midfielder? . Not once has Richie mentioned bringing in another keeper

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Some of the comments on Hemming are ridiculous.
I have not seen ANYONE actually consider that he just is not settling down South since he has always been up North...just seeing everyone say he is a crap 'keeper.
Maybe think about how he feels personally and not just how he is as a player RIGHT NOW.

Indeed . I can’t imagine Spurs have let us have their promising U21 keeper just to keep our bench warm all season

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Whatever the reason you can't have a keeper throwing in a goal a game. It's professional sport not a social club. Today is the last day to have a plan B and looks like the club are concerned enough to make sure they have someone else to turn to.Loyal_Supporter wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 5:17 pm Really quite disgraceful are some of the comment on Hemming.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Would you rather be playing step 6/7 football for Wealdstone or whoever, training once a week whilst holding down a full time job, or training full time for a L1 club sitting on the bench at grounds like Birmingham, Bolton, reading etc?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 5:13 pmThat’s fair enough but if I was in his shoes I’d be looking for a move . Howe’s is obviously wasting his time at Orient if he still can’t get a chance after those Hemming cock up’sThe Reverend wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 3:40 pm I can’t wait to see what Brigs/Tuffers has to say about this…
Seems like I was right all along and Howlers is never getting anywhere near a starting line up in League 1
It’s the same scenario as Vigs.

Well apart from any complete disasters he’ll definitely not play for us this season . So long as he’s OK with that then fine

17 games with Barnet last season is the sum total of his senior experience.

Ollie O’Neill had just 19 games for Derry, he’s not done too badly.WilliamTell wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 6:07 pm 17 games with Barnet last season is the sum total of his senior experience.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Personally I'm expecting Hemmings will start at Shrewsbury with Keeley on the bench. Fifty fifty whether Howes leaves or is kept as a just in case third choice.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Yeah I'd be surprised if they threw Keeley in after one day, it's basically put Hemmings on notice one more mistake and he's droppedChelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 6:18 pm Personally I'm expecting Hemmings will start at Shrewsbury with Keeley on the bench. I’d be very surprised if Hemming’s loan hasn’t been cancelled and he’s either on his way back to Boro or off on loan elsewhere. No way we can afford two season long loans from clubs above us.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
If Hemming is kept on then we must assume that Howes will go out on loan somewhere.
I can’t see Keeley (or Spurs ) being happy unless he starts games fairly soon which would make Hemming the No.2
Richie certainly has plenty to think about.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Richie says Howes wants first team football and will try to get him out on loan next few days, so the two loanees will compete for the number one spot. Feels a very odd situation, but Richie also said the cost of a good L1 keeper in terms of wages is beyond us, same with the other loanees, they work for us for we only pay a percent of their wages.

Re: Josh Keeley confirmed
Howes won't be able to go on loan, you can have only five loans in your match day squad, we have six
Hemming
Keeley
Perkins
Kelman
Currie
Donley
Logical one dropping out the match day squad is one of the loan keepers
