Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
sh*t . It now looks like I’ll be missing this game . I might be able to make the Rotherham game but due to work commitments I find midweek games hard to attend

Peterborough website suggests Orient triggered the postponement with 3 international call ups.

Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
Add this to the Sky issue and International Call Ups are just adding to the destruction of the traditional 3.00pm Saturday games many of us have held dear. I’m not sure where all this ends for Teams like us but it ain’t likely to be positive.

Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
So a Saturday game gets moved to mid week. This must cost the home side a severe financial loss as the attendance will be much lower. Does the EFL compensate the home side?
Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
Why should EFL do anything about compensation, as we have requested the game be postponed.Winchestorfan wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 10:56 pm So a Saturday game gets moved to mid week. Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
Get two weeks off then have to play 9 games in 4 weeks with our thread bare squad. Great.
Unless the couple of players still to join come in today or tomorrow, of course.

Don’t even consider Tuesday night games these days. Great entertainment industry!

Re: Peterborough (h) postponed
My understanding is that Orient triggered the Peterborough postponement due to three international call ups. I understand Galbraith has spent 90 minutes on the bench for Northern Ireland, anybody know the other two ?
